despite the fall, checking the ride on the east bay freeways, you will see their ride on 80 westbound looks good, soda 680 and highway 24. there were major hot spots yesterday but so far a much better ride. the nimitz is a problem free, so is the sunol grade. no delays on 101 or 85 through the west valley. the north bay commute is good as well with an easy trip for 101 southbound. the drive time is coming in at just 22 minutes. >>mark: 1 traffic lights go out, drivers are supposed to treat that as a four way stop. stanley roberts found that even those trained to know the law were in violation. >>stanley: if and when a traffic signal goes dark,

drivers should treat that intersection like a four way stop sign. this is driver training 101, something we learned when wilber getting a warner's permit, or so i thought. i am at 38 and geary in san francisco where the fire department responded to a possible transformer fire. it turns out it was a bad power connector but none the less the traffic signal was knocked out at this intersection. instead of drivers stopping to make sure it was safe, they blew through the intersection without a care in the world. the sad part, the people who should know better like muni bus drivers were the biggest offenders. i sought not just one bus, not to buses, but three buses >>stanley: their 30,000 t
