we see some '60s replaced by santa rosa, petaluma and four are in the areas out towards the delta and by afternoon high temperatures, you'll see all the green on your screen does indicate for the most part everyone making it into the sixties this afternoon. it will be about five degrees warmer compared to what we saw yesterday. for instance, oakland could get up to 65 degrees, 63 on tap for los gatos in san jose, 64 expected for those in morgan hill. santa rosa could make it up to 67 degrees, 62 expected for san raphael in downtown san francisco and '65 expected for the lead held this afternoon. satellite and radar shows a lot of that are wet weather activity has pushed out of our area and the pressure will continue to strengthen. for the most part we'll see sunny skies and temperatures in the sixth is. some of the high pressure will begin is to

see his family. he ruled that the sheriff must continue to stay away from his wife and son of he awaits charges--while he awaits trial on domestic but abuse charges. child protective services are invested in the shares involving an incident on neglect involving his son inside the courtroom he talked about the ruling. >> i am incredibly disappointed to say the least. this had been enormously crushing the fact that i have not been able to see my family, be with my wife, or be with my son. i will continue to fight this. >>james: he will go on trial on february 24th. >>justine: decision 2012 there was a heated debate in florida last night. the gop candidates squared off in

>>erica: good morning and welcome back to the kron4 morning news we're taking a live look outside at conditions. >>erica: we have heavy fog immediately around the bay area. the good news is we have warm conditions in store for this afternoon. we will continue with this dry and whether--and mild weather pattern. we could see some showers around the bay. you will mantra that but as he take the divisibility charge you can see how compromise the visibility is outside your door. as to continue down highway 101, took out a bottle, it is less than a quarter mile the same goes for napa and potentially hazardous driving conditions out on the roadway. check out oakland their attitudes of a mile visibility right now and less of a quarter

mile visibility in hayward. >>erica: as we check out your temperatures, they are not too bad. it looks like everyone is in the 40's so santa rosa and dealing with the low 40's right now, 52 for downtown san francisco, 49 is the common member for napa, and oakland, and those of you in hayward. has the check out what the temperatures will go into the afternoon for the most part everyone is they get into the '60s. oakland could actually reached the mid- 60s. it looks like los gatos and family will make a to 63 this afternoon. antioch is potentially one of the enormous costs coming in at 64 tech have santa rosa, we have plenty of sunshine here. your seven day around a forecast does highlight mostly sunny conditions around the bay

area. we will see a mixture of clouds but temperatures are on the warmer side. you see temperatures can reach the upper 60s. we will cool things off just a little bit as we start the next work week. we have several dense fog advisories issued around the bay area. obviously the debris is included. so, the chp as asking that we drive with extra caution and be mindful of the cars in front of you. no, this is not a blank screen, this is traffic and you can see a couple of the headlights making their way in the east bound direction. visibility is compromise here. regardless, we now have an activist record is 14 minutes from in to end. usually the chp does not issue a fog advisory but it is under one this morning. certainly be aware that for your ride for san francisco and just past the toll plaza. checking some of the

>>reporter: these are pictures of 14 out of the 70 arrested many wanted for aggravated assault, robbery, and four of the suspects had outstanding warrants. the san francisco police chief said the streets are a lot safer with these people behind bars. >> this is about violence reduction. we are trying to seek out those people that are looking to execute some acts of violence. we do start early in the morning because we want to have the element of surprise. this is a very dangerous operation, some of our most experienced men and women are hand selected to do this and they do this better than anyone in the country. >>reporter: this is similar operations will take place in the future he says to

expect more arrests very soon. >>james: , a grim discovery at a construction site in palo alto, workers found a body behind a chain-link fence. police as you can see quickly sealed off the area. the fight was being renovated at the time and they say it appears the body is that of a male and it may have been there for several days. there are no obvious signs of trauma. the house fire in oakland is being called suspicious. this happened on 28th street across from our mc qeen jr. weight. the fire was put out and about 20 minutes and arson investigators are trying to find out what started this. there are no injuries to report. >>justine: there are signs of an economic prospects-- progress however some poor housing numbers took the wind right out of the market's sails. the dow closed down. the nasdaq down

economy. he says the bay area is doing a lot better than others in the nation. >> silicon valley is performing well in the nation when it comes to job growth. and san francisco is in a top-10. so the bay area is definitely doing better than california in the nation but so far is in technology. you can see it in silicon valley, you can see it with this huge hiring that is going on in technology, but also the restaurant and retail sales are up in the city is getting a little more revenue. so when there is a job growth, it is spilling over. the bottom line is things are looking up in the bay area the still only modest recovery until the housing market rebounds. >>james: let us take a quick

>>erica: check out your temperatures, not too shabby and most locations are dealing with upper 40's and 50's. santa rosa is sticking in the low '40's there the checkout san francisco coming in at 52 degrees, 54 for those at half moon bay. it looks like we see no '50s in the south bay as well. as the check out where the temperatures will will drop the rest of the day, by 7:00 a.m. it looks like we will stay in the '40's for most of the north bay and they begin a little bit warmer along the coastline. as we fast forward, you will see that we warm up significantly. we actually make it to the low 60s for some of the north bay area and then down the shores. and of the screen on your screen does indicate most people making it into the '60s. we do have a prayer--pleasant forecast on

tap. 63 degrees expected to redwood city, it looks like will be in the low 60s for places like half moon bay. check-up antioch coming in at 64 degrees, 67 on tap for santa rosa and 62 for downtown san francisco. your satellite every our picture shows a lot of the wet weather will to the east so no of the contending with that not even through portions of northern california. high pressure will continue in the bay area. we will see mild conditions and as we head into sunday evening we have the potential for some showers. we will be monitored and that for you as a check at the seven day around the forecast, you will see partly cloudy skies on tap for today and a lot of sunshine as we head into the weekend and temperatures that will actually reach the upper 60s. >>james: thank you, and a quick check of the bridges,

out of the east bay, police are searching for a murder suspect in the city's first homicide of the year. a man was shot in the apartment building. that is will will tran is this morning. officials believe this was not a random shooting. >>reporter: they believe he was targeted, this morning here in the pit of the victim. i just talked with his friends and heavy is, he is a 35 year old. his name is kenneth warrant junior he is originally from new york city. his friends gave me a photograph to pass along. they say he was more than berkeley's first homicide victim who was a caring friend. he worked downstairs at the barbershop you can see the square building the local area he was going upstairs with the balcony and the like is he was visiting his friends open to watch the basketball game last night. he was in the process of knocking on the

door when apparently at least 30 shots were fired in his direction. as you can see there is a woman standing at the door right now i got a chance to talk with her and she said they wanted to open the door for him to so many shots rang out that the also ducked for cover. they do not know why anyone would go after him. they say he worked at the barbershop part-time and he works at the port of oakland as a longshoreman. a very friendly guy and they have no idea what was going on. he never talked about any possible enemies. coming up we will go inside the place i had a chance to look inside and i can tell you this place is riddled with bullets from the front to the back, from the floor to ceiling. they are so shaken up by what happened back with matt the very least at least the two of them were safe. they were not injured during the shooting spree that they say felt like one minute long. >> darya: passengers will
