of oakland was able to save some important services, but many city workers were not so lucky. 80 final layoff notices will be handed out today. this city is slashing nearly $30 million from its budget. >> the stress of actually losing your job in this economy is about the worst thing that a person can suffer. >> we are not happy that anyone is losing a job. it is not a win-win situation for anyone. >>darya: the city council was able to restore funding to a number of city services that were in jeopardy. >> they restored the things i wanted to say. when we make these proposals, we always proposed a few more cuts

>>mark: in a live look as we take a look at traffic approaching the eight rich. here we have more heavy drizzle, spotty across the bay area. in florida, authorities are saying they found the body of an 11th victim inside of a truck days after this deadly interested crash. 18 people were taken to hospital with injuries. fog and smoke from a nearby fire reduced visibility to down near zero along a stretch of 75 near gainesville. the road was closed for three hours on sunday but it was reopened in and the crash happened. it was closed again later as a precaution. the crash is considered the worst in the past 30 years.
