>>james: in the south bay a man is behind bars accused of kidnapping his ex- girlfriend. san jose police said this man falls--forced his girlfriend into her own car with the victim was able to escape. the suspect fled the scene was caught by police soon after and neither victim was used to hurt. and outside and that doesn't--this outside analysis shows that if the city boosted productivity, for the last officer to be needed. the study also says the firefighters could be replaced by paramedics. the san jose mayor requested the free analysis from ibm and they will be meeting with the city council this week. firefighters and police unions, both blasted

we are looking for mid-60's this afternoon. the cloud will continue to build as we head into the evening we are expecting rain for tonight and tomorrow will be the latest on the forecast with eric and just a minute. but some developing news out of oakland are occupy protesters are rallying against what they call police brutality. they're planning another rally this morning. this is video that was taken last saturday. aside from targeting the police, the protesters also targeted the media. a group of teenagers appear and harassing the tv station right now. items were thrown at the news crews tried to cover the event. protesters threw rocks and bottles at police and officers responded with teargas. more than 400 people were arrested three officers and one protester were injured. oakland mayor says

vandalism was related to occupy oakland that has cost the city some $5 million since the protests since popped up back in october. occupy oakland is planning to hit the streets this morning protesting what they call police brutality. maureen kelly has a close look on what to expect. >>reporter: occupy protesters are expected to start their day at 8:30 a.m.. that is where they plan to pack the courtroom to in order to support build occupy protesters who have been arrested. after that demonstrators will march from the courthouse to frank ogawa plaza for a rally at noon. this is occupy protesters say they will protest against what happened back on saturday january 28th where demonstrators and police clashed numerous times in nearly 400 people were arrested. >> i think the excessive force used by the police department and injured a lot

of people and i seem to want to make it clear we will not stick to that. >>reporter: after the rally protesters are expected to march from the plaza to the courthouse. occupy protesters say they do not know how many people will show up but today's events are expected to be non- violent oakland police say they're planning for a sizable crowd so that all personnel will be working and mutual aid forces will be on standby. the department spokesperson says they're not sure it this saturday night peace rally that drew only about 70 people is a good sign for monday or not this could be an indication that some are distancing themselves from the movement or something that many activists sat out saturday in order to rest up for a bigger demonstration on monday. >>james: in washington d.c., cruising hazmat to clean up after occupy protesters there. the police showed up to make sure that the protesters made should

after today's 8:30 a.m. rally another rally is set for noon. they say that will have jailed protesters began out against the police. jackie joyner as an open right now. we have just a few hours before that action starts is there anything going on right now? >>reporter: this is at the courthouse at seventh and washington in downtown oakland. this is where the arraignment will take place. as you talked about, the plan on holding a rally at 8:30 a.m. in support of some of the protesters that were arrested one week ago saturday crocker the arraignment is supposed to get under way at 830 ind. and then from here they will march down to frank ogawa plaza for the noon rally that you just talk about. at 1:00 p.m. to walk back here for the afternoon session of arraignment. it all is very quiet out here right now. as protesters are

have new details, crassus at st. ignatius college track in san francisco are set to resume this morning after an illness forced the school, the private high school to shut down last week. the health department has confirmed that a highly contagious enterovirus is what made more than 3000 students and faculty sick. to 325 student to a record it have been affected. the school's principal encourages students who are not feeling well to remain home for at least three days after their symptoms are over >> mark: from a broken city police are arresting a physical education teacher and use of physically abusing young she taught to develop need to--she taught developmentally disabled students the skills towards to her young boys but it was
