>>justine: good morning, as you can see you can barely make out the top of the bridge because the fog was just blankets in the area yesterday. this was a huge problem during the morning commute. there was a pile up on highway 37 that involve 31 cars. chp said there were 11 separate crashes in part of the highway had to shut down for about three hours so that all that could be cleared away. there were no major injuries reported and all of them. >>james: erica is keeping an

eye on the latest weather forecast coming in what you see out there? >>erica: we do see some fog. as we take a look at live conditions in walnut creek you can see that it is clear for the most part if you are situated in one of the inland area to look like this morning temperatures for the most part are sitting in the 40's. this we do have in the befall got there but it looks like it will burn off in the next few hours. as we head into the afternoon we will see a lot of sunshine and the potential for some 70 to around the area and in this evening it looks like things will pull back down but we will see mostly clear conditions. here is a look at the fog tracker to show you where that is situated around the bay area. as we bring up the maps, you will see most of that is actually in the north bay area. is about one-half mile visibility just north of santa rosa it becomes more dense in the petaluma area. you can see that there are compromise conditions. in

predict the potential for rainfall in the early morning hours as we advance the clock closer, you can see most of the rain chances sticks in the santa rosa petaluma area so everywhere north of the golden gate bridge and by 12:00 we could see a pop of shower of the bay bridge and maybe along the coastline as well. for the most part we may see a random hit or miss showers in the north bay into the evening hours. your seven day around the forecast shows mostly cloudy conditions as we head into the next string of days. we do see a potential for rain tomorrow. they're partly cloudy conditions with temperatures in the low 60s as we start the next work week. in the traffic to drive not have any hot spots to tell you about and no special advisor it. as you look at the bay bridge toll plaza you see a good decent number of cars making their way out open toward san francisco with no delays to report. this ride is just 89 minutes from the foot of the maze to fremont street. the

san mateo bridge is a problem for in both directions of highway 92. as we looked at the golden gate bridge, we have some flashing lights and the northbound direction. i checked with the united not see anything to report. we do not have any major delays coming out of the north bay. in terms of your traffic maps, be sure freeway looks good. all the green on your screen indicates speeds over 50 mi. per hour. your drive from hercules to berkeley is just 12 minutes at this hour. as we take this down to the south bay north bound 101 is moving easy with no accidents to report. >>james: new details about the man accused of shooting the u.s. customs agent. police say denis shot the agent in front of his new work home--newark home.
