bridge completely emptied of cars by 9:00 p.m.. here is the work that they will be doing tonight and through the weekend. once westbound traffic is shut down the cruise will command edible the westbound lanes of traffic to the left for about 2/5 of a mile just past the toll plaza. the new lanes are in yellow. >> will we have right now is a line and that is pretty much in place. we have to connectors that have to be paved and have utilities put in place like drainage and stripping has to be done. >>charles: that will allow them to demolish a small part of the old bay bridge. then, the crews can complete the work.
