largest rainfall has been in santa rosa with a little more than 17.5 in. compared to 31 in. seen at this time last year. san francisco is standing at 10.3 in. compared to 19.7 last year. oakland has nine. to concur to 15.8 last year. several has 7.9 kidder to 16.2 last year and san jose has 3.7 compared to 9.5 last year. with rainfall totals trending downward, the national weather service says these numbers are 33- 50% of where they should be during a normal year. >> it is certainly a negative impact on water levels. the snowpack in the sierra is also impacted.

storm tracker 4 shows nothing over the bay area right now. most of the rainfall is situated in the pacific northwest. it is not until overnight where we start to see this band sitting offshore. a lot of that will break up before reaching land fall. as we advanced the clock even into the latter part of the morning there rain chance does stick north.

for the most part we will remain dry around the bay. we do have a chance of rain on tap for tomorrow. tuesday, wednesday and possibly thursday we could seize the north bay showers. mostly sunny skies on tap for friday. our best chips for widespread rain is scheduled for saturday and sunday. a high wind advisory has been issued by the chp. drive with extra caution. you should certainly drive extra caution for your ride across the stand. here is a live look at the golden gate.

unfolding. no delays or problems on the approaches or from the macarthur maze. your ride to and from the san mateo is good although in the eastbound direction, off of the span there is an accident. your golden gate bridge ride is a good one. the bridge is now completely configured for the morning commute. that means they have the fourth lane in place for the entire span of the bridge. in the ec will see that the right looks good for 80 westbound, 680 south and even for westbound highway 24, there are no delays there. it looks good for 880, the nimitz, your ride through hayward and the westbound commute into dublin is just dark and to slow a bit. the south's bay freeways are completely clear of any delays.
