it happened wednesday night in a quiet east bay neighborhood. this haaziq madyun spoke with a woman who lives near the victim. >> one day after being charged with second-degree murder in the death of an unarmed 17 year-old, george zimmerman led before a judge and large he would remain in custody. >> this is where the bullet went through, after it went through cracks arm. >>haaziq: the bullet was fired on wednesday night hitting this homeowner in the oakland hills, after he was confronted like to send wearing dark hoodies while walking his dog. >> i would say around 70 p.m. i heard a gunshot. >> a close friend and neighbor said she was on the scene shortly after the shooting occurred. >> he comes out and said, i have been shot.

construction in san fransisco caused a major backup on the bay bridge. >>george: we have been watching things steadily deteriorated. >> eventually the traffic jam extended into the macarthur maze. only the westbound lanes were affected. the metering lights at the toll plazas or turn on and the delays lasted until early afternoon. as for what may have caused the backup, there was construction along fremont street. that is where the crews are building the new trans bay terminal. that may have slowed down drivers trying to exit at fremont.

>>gabe: airbuses and san francisco that have video cameras built into them. as there are driving through the city, they have a camera at street level into one of the side of the bus to captured license plates. the parking ticket that i received said one of the video cameras on a bus captain did parking illegally ended now have to pay this ticket. off i was amazed by this technology, i called it set up the applied to the video and they showed it to me. take a look at my vehicle. it was my car and it was my license plate. >> i pulled over when i got a phone call while driving. i was pulled over for one man did it in admitted a buses drove by at that video of me sitting there.

the heaviest rain is situated in some of the inland in the east bay spots. expect hazardous driving conditions coming down to 42 through walnut creek. looks like the wet weather will be with us for the next couple of hours. intense downpours for highway 101 and 880. it looks like we're dealing with light rain.

>>erica: welcome back to the kron4 news. we are taking a look at storm tracker 4. it looks like we do see dry breaks in the marin county however check out concord it fairfield. a heavy dose of wet weather coming down the east shore freeway. as we take a wider view of the east the inland spots, the heavy rain over concord and walnut creek, pretty much the same story for those of the driving along highway 4 out of the antioch towards its board. we have been dealing with a

moderate-heavy downpours so if this is your commute this morning, definitely be aware of cuddling and that could take place. allow yourself extra time and keep a safe distance between you and the car in front of you. it looks like the rain is pretty light in nature. it looks like things are starting to dry out.

flooding this morning, more than any other rain date this week. there is a big problem at the oakland airport. first, a bridge check. here's a look on the upper deck westbound in san francisco. delay free. the san mateo bridge ride has been no case of far this morning. no problems reported here and no wind advisories for any of the bay area bridges. the golden gate bridge looks good as well. as d.c. we're problem free with light traffic. typically the ranking it is a lighter is the leader commute. did not forget it is still spring break. let's take you through to the oakland airport. there are two ways to get to the airport.
