this is happening right now in a residential neighborhood behind east washington in the mcdowell. agents have been injured. we have a live shot from the scene provided to us from yoli aceves. she is there on the dow ended mcneil showing as the police activity happening there right now. tsongas here is where the live shot is coming from. a lot of police officers on the scene. it looks like one of the house as their houses on is on this street. we're working to find out how the officers are doing. we have a video that shows the officer is being treated by emergency crews. earlier this morning we spoke with the general manager of a one of the hotels behind this residential neighborhood. he says he heard several shots earlier this morning. here is video that wanted to show you of what happened.

it looks like the warm and dry weather will stay with us into next week. >>george: we still have street closures and petaluma along with the police investigation. on the freeways traffic is still pretty light. here's a quick commute check. 680 and highway 24 is also still pretty light. no problems on the peninsula for 101 award to 80. from marin county the 101 southbound ride is still without delay. >>darya: now to the latest on the mad cow disease investigation. investigators have tracked down at least one of the offspring of the infected cow in another state. the offspring was euthanize and tested for the disease but the test came back negative. the department's agriculture has quarantined to farms.

the dairy farm has been under quarantine since the discovery. authorities say that the infected cow was not intended for the food supply and there is no reason to believe that any peace is at risk of contamination. dublin police are looking for a robbery suspect. here is a sketch of who they are looking for. the suspect is a white male 130 lbs., five fatuities-5 04 inches. also you will notice a tattoo on his neck that says megan. >>mark: a milestone for caltrans workers on a new eastern span of the bay bridge.

since the final strands of this cable was put in place special hydraulic compacting machines have been squeezing the cable into a cylindrical shape. caltrans says the machines are a few hundred feet away from finishing work on the main cable. >> the big tax man looking steinways 30,000 lbs. and that is what is doing the work. we have to use a compression machine to get that form. >> we are taking the individual strands of wire that when they are grouped together form a hexagon, we are compressing them into a cylindrical form and allows us to place this out of that holds the stand up. it is a big milestone. >>darya: new this morning the number of people seeking unemployment benefits fell by 27,000.

weapons, a police uniform, a police scanner all inside of the stores woman that he had at a storage unit in richmond. investigators say that they were looking at a drive-by shooting in mill valley and south surveillance video leading them to this man. it was during that investigation that they stumbled on a stolen lamborghini in his storage garage. his bail is set at $2 million. >>mark: a quick break as the kron4 news continues. petaluma police say that there are no immediate threats in the area, back with more in a moment.

>>darya: if you have three federal agents shot and injured, who fired the shots? is there a suspect? did they make any arrests? is there someone there looking for? >>yoli: there is not a lot of information coming out. the only statement that ice delivered was that agents are in stable condition. i spoke with another neighbor of the said two doors down there is a family that lives there and it looked like maybe a has been, wife and children. >>darya: we also have justine following this story in the newsroom. >>justine: there are telling as the agents were injured by serving a high-risk warrant related to a criminal investigation and right now one suspect is in custody. we do know that two officers have been taken from the scene.

what we are hearing was that there was some sort of warrant served related to an ongoing criminal investigational. one suspect is now in custody. just a few minutes ago we interviewed the general manager of the hotel near the scene. here's what he said live. >> we heard a couple of loud bangs and gunshots. we are informed that there was a homeland security operation being conducted in a neighborhood behind us. a helicopter landed industry to evacuate some one but we do not know anything at this point. they have had everything pretty much locked down. >>darya: we are still getting more information on this breaking news story. george has an update on the traffic impact. >>george: street closures on itself mcdowell is shut down between east washington and

maria drive. we did have reports earlier that the east washington off ramp from northbound 101 may have been shut down it is in fact not. it is open but just restricted as to which direction you can get. those are the street closure is. you will notice on the freeway we are starting to see some slowing on a one- to-one southbound. this is not in connection with the police action or investigation. it is typical commute traffic. on the bay bridge, the westbound commute, slow metering lights today. a light ride on the upper deck means a big back of a toll plaza. we have reports of salon almost from west grand avenue as he had towards the upper deck. the golden gate is a problem free with no delays across the stand. no problems therefore presidio parkway or the doe will drive by past. still reasonably light
