the with a live look outside from our camera on top of our building on van ness avenue and said francisco. after such a warm weekend a looks like more hot weather is on the way but big changes coming up for the rest of the week. and dozens of people are without a home in san francisco after a fire ripped through an apartment building in the city's mission district. this is video of the flames.

da lin has more on how the fire started and the aftermath. >>da: investigators say the fire started in the blue building and then spread to the beige building next door. what caused the fire? they do not know. people who live in the building state of fire spread quickly giving them variable time to escape. years reaction from one fire victim. >> i do not have a home anymore. i do not have any friends, i have to go sleep in a hotel.

>>erica: welcome back. we are taking a live look outside at conditions from the golden gate. a hint of fall but overall pretty mild conditions around the entire bay area. as we check out temperatures right outside the door, not to death. if downtown san francisco in the low 50s. upper 50s for those of you in san jose. as we go down the list, 54 for oakland and concord. 55 for this is he in san carlos. as we check out where temperatures go into the afternoon and, if we will continue to see sunshine. we could actually heat things up inland. it looks like the upper 80s
