being held on murder and kidnapping charges in the disappearance of sierra lamar of morgan hill. the gilroy police released a sketch in late july of last year after a 10 year old girl reported that a man approached her here in the 7600 block of miller avenue on july 26th and told her to get into his car. she ran away and police were called. on august 3rd, a few blocks away on ortega's circle, police suspect the same man approached and tested three of tickets, two girls and a boy. they also got away. despite the likeness between the two suspects, the man in the sketch drove a white honda sedan and the suspect in the sierra lamar case from drove a red volkswagen jetta. gilroy police reportedly identified a suspect in the trial in its case the refused to say if the suspect is antolin garcia torres. the case has been turned over to the district attorney's office for the review of any possible similarities between the two cases.
