a patchy start this morning it will not be widespread, it could spread over the bay as the morning progresses. it is a little warmer than yesterday we may get into the upper '70's may be some low 80s. we are still warming up as we head towards mid week. the weekend forecast looks fantastic i will have that coming up in just a moment, how is traffic? >> george: not bad at all. here at the bay bridge toll plaza we have light traffic. now back up on any lights yet. you will find lighter than usual conditions, a little sluggish for highway 4 and interstate 580 but that is to be expected. >> darya: back to san francisco there looking for someone that may have fallen into the water off of pier 32. >>anchor: police officers

are at the end of the pier, you can see three or four squad cars. at this point it does not appear in that they are anything helicopters or boats. we do not see them crossing over the bay like we saw maybe 30 minutes ago. i finish talking with a sergeant at the end of the pier. he said that when he arrived last night they got the phone call that someone fell into the water. when he arrived there were many people standing around i ask him if anyone came up and started frantically sang my friend fell in the water help? he said no, everyone appeared calm. i asked him if he thought this may be a hoax. he said no. he said by the huge response the fire department, the police officers everyone the emergency vehicles are here and they had been searching for seven and a half hours so far no sign of this man,

all we know is that he was wearing t-shirts and jeans when he fell into the water. and notice that there are a couple of cars at the end of the pier. right now the police to parma is running a license plate check on the cars to see if anyone owns them, maybe the person who fell in the water that is his car right now so that still is a part of the investigation. i also asked if he fell in the water, it seems pretty calm right now with he still be in this vicinity and they said no. last night the tide was moving out to sea and that is why they use a helicopter. who knows if the coast guard were burned by helicopter but it seems like they have suspended their search as far as i can tell. hopefully there will give us an update. >> darya: ok, then we will check back with you. >> mark: san francisco police went undercover at last night's dodgers game.

the scene. >>anchor: you can see the san francisco fire department here, it has been eight hours of since the man fell off of this pier and into the water. they believe if he is here he should be in the vicinity because the tides are pretty weak at this point. also, there is a volunteer who has searched and went to be able to come out with his kayak and a fist. i can tell you that the helicopter will be relaunched after refueling as well. now, i talked with the san francisco police department. when he showed up i asked him if there were people at the pierre yelling frantically sang my friend was in the water? but the police officer said no, the people seem pretty calm. but they have to believe that this is real and this is reala hoax. there are a couple of cars that are

at 3:30 p.m. friday-- saturday afternoon. a bart police identified and 22 year-old man and a 20 year- old woman as the two who attacked a woman that says that she used her laptop to shield her stomach to protect her pregnancy while the two of them attacked her. >> someone sprayed something on my face. and good thing i was looking down. it did not actually get into my eyes. it did not burn that much, but i was able to see that i had to attackers. i ask the guy please do not attack me or hit me because i am pregnant and then he was trying to grab my items. the first thing i did was sit on the floor and cover my stomach with my laptop. >> mark: the only person to

right now environmental police are working to remove this safely. when i did my last of the less than 10 minutes ago, and environmental police officer went up in a cherry picker with a tranquilizer gun but it looks like they have not used it. i will mantra both situations and keep you updated. >> darya: we are also monitoring gas prices and you may have noticed that they have continued to drop. now we are still higher than the national average but we are definitely saving some money. i saw this guy open his wallet, did he have a smile on his face? >> they are not giving it a way out here, you still have to pay for. we are still the third highest but prices are still going down the have gone down for 11 straight weeks. he is opening up his wallet but he will have to spend his best to do it. the national average is $3.39 that is pretty good.
