outside of children's hospital in oakland and this is where the two year-old boy was brought around 3:00 p.m. yesterday. we are being told that he is in critical condition with the single gunshot to the back area. friends and family are surrounding him this morning. we were actually able to get an interview with one of the family friends. he described the boy's condition. >> he said his back was hurting that it was burning and it fell hot. they put a sweater over him so he would not lose a lot of blood. there were really scared that the little boy with die right there he was very pale. they cannot take out the bullet right now because it may injure an even paralyze him. it is somewhere in the vertebrate and the spine. >>anchor: police commission was less of them yesterday. at some point we are hoping we can get an update and then will pass that information along. >> mark: we do know that the local police have the

firefighters in san jose will go door-to-door asking people if they have any information about the arsons in the area. they believe to fires that damaged two buildings and displaced 20 people were earlier in the week were arson. and look just melted electric meters. just melted all the plastic. first a lot blossom hill estates was the first one and a second was just four minutes after that both fires were set in recycling bins. >> mark: police say 35 year- old man was shot and killed by antioch police yesterday afternoon the man reportedly calling the police and sounding distraught. they say the man called saying that he would killed himself and killed an officer. the police tried to talk with the man who had a gun. he responded by firing

at the officers and then the officers fired back. >> mark: -- >> darya: fairfield police are looking for more possible victims to come forward if they were molested by a local pastor. this pastor was arrested at his home he was a pastor and an orthodox church the local diocese contacted reported about the possible allegations. investigators say he may have molested children as far back as 1994. so far they have five people that have come forward. the majority of this happened at the church when the people were left alone with him. we have no ages on the alleged victims he has been charged with multiple counts of town a station. in just a few our share of more ross mirkarimi will be back fighting to keep his job. he took the stand last night. is

>> darya: to the president obama will get firsthand look at the devastating wildfires burning and colorado. look at all the flames rising from this huge fire near colorado springs. firefighters are working around the clock trying to figure out the best way to tackle this. the president has already declared a state of disaster so that opens up federal aid. this fire has left one person dead and destroyed about 346 homes. car wends its slightly cooler temperatures are forecast for today so that might help. >> mark: the florida neighborhood watch volunteer that killed trave on martin isn't scheduled to be back in court today. his $150,000 original bond was revoked and early this month when the prosecutor said that he

and finally got the rocket up into space and the launch was even delayed since wednesday due to a tropical storm debby. the conditions were just much favorable for the flight. this is a private mission not done by nasa but a company called united launch alliance. that is what we just walked on the kron4 morning news, this is history in the making. >> mark: really interesting to watch. and we just saw space x sitting vehicle up into space this is a joint effort between boeing and lockheed martin. we are seeing private space companies now taking over the mission that nasa once a solely owned in the united states as you watch as the spy satellite makes its way up into the space. now there were delays with the launch because of tropical storm debby that was raining over

now taking a look at the temperatures run outside the door. we see a wide range of 50 for the most part. we have 57 for oakland 55 for downtown san francisco as we see exactly where the numbers will go in the afternoon the future forecast shows by about 12:00 we see a clear divide between green and yellow on the screen. we have '60s and '70s for the most part. it looks like a little bit of orange starting to creek in on the screen indicating the potential for some low 80s. we only squeeze out a couple degrees for los gatos and campbell later this afternoon and looks like any out could reach 83. in the north bay we have mostly mid '70s with plenty of sunshine reported. and the five downtown san francisco could

mayor expressing what could be done by various tactics in other cities like new york they have a stop and frisk policy for the police. that is where officers can stop and frisk those who they considered suspicious. this is also done in philadelphia police chief says he's not sure this will be a good idea. >> we detain people on a reasonable suspicion. i'm not saying that i would rule out having a discussion about anything but i do believe that we do well, we do a right and will recover we recover by making all of our intentions based on reasonable suspicion. >> darya: it looks like something maybe they're batting around and that is not going to work by all accounts here in san francisco they will look for another way to lower the violence. >> mark: we will be right back as the kron4 morning news continues.

next to the boy. the mother, the boy's sister and the three other kids were all right there. a man on a bike pulled out a gun near south 15th street and main avenue and started shooting at someone in a car. one of the bullets hit the boy in the back. he is expected to survive. investigators are looking for the shooter. they did find a bike that the gunman was on a few blocks away. they also want to speak more about the target, the man that was in the car. he was in it for confusion can lead--he was in a ford fusion. >> mark: there was a fire overnight, no injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation in the meantime this morning san jose firefighters will go door-to-door asking people to come forward to see if they have any information

detectives learned about the case from the clergy of the diocese that represents the same activity--that represents st. timothy orthodox church. they gave the names of potential victims that may have been molested by him as far back as 1994. detectives were able to talk to all of the alleged victim to claim in some cases that he photographed them while they were naked. they say the alleged incident to happen while they were alone with him at the church. as far as the church is concerned a city plan to fully cooperate with the investigation. detectives said the case is far from over there still out there looking for any more potential victims. >> mark: here is a scene in oakland police say that this bomb scare that closed several streets and yesterday morning appears to be a hoax. the device found outside of the salvation army store near seventh and franklin the police said this was made to look like a real bomb. the sheriff's bomb squad detonated the

device and the strictly open shortly. >> darya: the san francisco 49ers are going to court to try to collect about $30 million in redevelopment money the city promised them for their new stadium. the problem is the city does not have that money any more because they dissolve all of the local redevelopment agencies, so the agency not responsible for doling out the left over redevelopment funds decided that the community had more important uses for the cash. officials say that construction will continue on schedule and is expected that the stadium will be done in the summer of 2014. >> justine: live pictures out of florida with george zimmerman is in from of a judge right now asking to be that out of jail for the second time. now you may notice he is in civilian clothing and unshackled yes he had to ask the judge for permission to do this. he is in court right now trying to be let out of jail for the second time because he had been charged with second- degree murder after fatally shooting trave on martin in

>> mark: check out this video that has everyone talking to top hockey coach he tripped a 13 year-old caught on camera he left the boy with a broken wrist. the film was shot by one of the parents of the players. and it looks the coach deliberately tripped the little boy. the coach was arrested after the incident and released the parents of the team that was trapped are deciding whether or not to press charges against the coach. he broke a 13 year- old boys rest. --boys
