year-old boy. >> will: police say this man assault to the boy over at one year between 2003 and 2004. authorities are looking into the possibility that the suspect was involved in similar crimes in other cities. >> will: opening statements began yesterday in the wrongful death suit filed against the computer engineer hans reiser it was filed by his own children. he is already serving 15 years from his estranged wife back in 2006. the lawsuit says the children suffered serious emotional distress and psychological trauma and it points out that they were in their oakland hills home when their mother was killed. the children now live in russia.

seven day around the bay. first i want to show you what to expect by lunchtime. we can see very little in the weight of sixties in fact the majority of the bay area is already in so, the hot weather will continue to persist as begin to the afternoon high temperatures by 3:00 p.m. we have a lot more red that is starting to feel in wood. it looks like we will introduce the purple that indicates the potential for triple digits. here's a quick break down of where the numbers are expected to go. we could get into the 80's for places like hayward and redwood city, we have 90 expected for fremont. now check out antioch. it is likely to reach 105 degrees and 101 on tap for fairfield and pleasanton later this afternoon. my suggestion would be head to the beach if you have the day off. it looks like we could see low '70s for santa cruz, 60 degrees on tap for moderate.

as the slightest coastline it looks like we are on the cool side for bodega bay. your seven day around the bay forecast does show we will see some relief i will notice some cool down as we head into tomorrow but it will be pretty toasty inland. expect mid-90s for the warmest in the areas, '70s around the bay and upper 60 for the coast. we will continue to see the tip to slide as we head into the weekend. now here in the traffics in tried and i have any hot spots or problem spots to tell you about. i have been checking with the chp in everything i have seen is minor. here at the approach to the bay bridge toll plaza traffic it's getting a little more busy. there are no metering lights to deal with. your bridge writer is moving smoothly. your drive is just 13 minutes from into in. a

>> mark: this morning we are learning that the victim shot and killed last night in oakland was a 15 year-old boy, this is according to the oakland tribune. it was the second homicide in oakland in just 24 hours. this took place just a few blocks from the coliseum he was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. no one is in custody and the police stayed at the scene overnight investigating a crime. and earlier last night in man was found dead in his car parked here in oakland. police believe this man was shot. then they believe he was driven to this location. this is oakland 60th homicide of the year. >> darya: a san jose
