antioch in fairfield. temperatures are not close to the record highs. the record high in the livermore this 111 on the state. we're a degrees shy. in san jose the record high is 99 skiffs in santa rosa the record high is 113th. not even close near santa rosa but still very hot stuff in. the did is is as we head into tomorrow cooler conditions of '60s and '70s. we will still see '90s but on the far edge of the bay area. triple digit readings in the central valley. we will see more '80s and '90s tomorrow. the cooling trend will continue into the weekend, details on what to expect coming up. >>catherine: in the east bay it was particularly hot. for some people it was just too hot to be outdoors.

facebook fan page. saddam a 15 year-old boy in oakland was murdered last night. today his family is in mourning. police say he was gunned down by someone on tuesday night near his home. today his sister told haaziq madyun that her family is hoping the community will give up any information on her brother's killer. >> this is the parking lot of the line creek across apartment complex in oakland. that is where the sister of the 15 year-old victim says her brother was gunned down just a few feet away from the front door of his home. >> i just dropped him off yesterday. i want to get something to eat, i came back and he was gone. he was a gentle giant.
