are developing story is what is going to happen with me this morning. --withmiuni this morning. >> reporter: a protest was supposed to start about one minute ago. all we see is police officers. there were probably 10 to 15 police officers that got there around 5:30 a.m.. they are stationed there waiting for protesters to arrive. protesters are angry and here is the reason why. one year ago, this man was killed by police officers. but the police officer say while they were chasing him

he turned around and shot at the officers unfortunately for him, he shot himself in the neck. they do not know if it was an accident or suicide. his video about how it all started. they started chasing him after they notice that he did not pay for a $2 muni ticket. he was from seattle and down in the bay area, his supporters said they had no idea about that that they were simply chasing a man that they were racial profiling. here is what oscar grant sokol had to say about the shooting. >> we at the community are tired of seeing our children being murdered by the role the police officers in the community. we want the community to stand with us so that we can shut down the city. >> reporter: back live you can see one officer there and many others are driving around on patrol. the police
