20%. now there is a uc regents meeting that is planned this morning, we are live to talk about the protests and why tuition could go up yet again. >> will: now meeting the protesters will be the officers they are here, they're here just in case things get out of hand. one of the officers tells me that he expects things to be peaceful because in this situation they will be voting to freeze tuition but there is a caveat, governor brown wants to pass a tax initiative that will tax the wealthiest californians. he is holding the school hostage per say because if that does not happen, if the tax initiatives did not pass in november that means that automatic cuts will begin with schools k through 12 as well as higher education. at 8:30 a.m. there will be a protest. this one is quite unique. here is one of the protesters that talk with me a few minutes ago.

kron4 newsroom of what is just in. at&t is now falling in verizon footsteps. it will introduce wireless plans that allow subscribers to connect in devices. all devices will get wireless data access from a limited pool of data usage that gives renewed each month. you may remember what we talked about how rise and introduced the share everything plants back in june. at&t comes very close to what verizon is offering for one smart phone with 1 mb will cost $85 per month compared to $90 with verizon . that is just in to the kron4 newsroom. >> mark: in florida two men tried to rob an internet cafe the got more than they bargained for. a 71 year-old man pulled out a gun and start firing at the robbers. now he was pulling out his gun, he shot one of the men in the arm, now the 219

year-old robbers were arrested and taken to the hospital and charged with attempted robbery with a fire arm. williams actually has a licence to carry the concealed weapon and is not facing any charges. >> darya: a robbery suspect in columbus ohio truck away from the police by stealing one of their cars and jumping into the police car. there are two suspects wanted in connection with a burglary at an apartment that is when the police started the chase. shots were fired and a 21 year-old man was killed. it is not clear who shot the victim, they did not know if it was the suspect of the police, that is when the guy jumped in and took off. the man did not get very far, the police were able to arrest him after he crashed the police car. the police are still looking for the second suspect. >> james: just in time for the weekend, a warm-up is on the way, everyone has outdoor plans, this is a

includes plans for funding the police fire class's and adding a legislative aide. two supervisors often out of having the extra aid and wanted the money to go towards projects for their district. the budget for final approval is expected to be given next week. the homeless living in kelley park in san jose have until tomorrow to clear out otherwise they'll be interested. this was the scene on monday when the crews were posting the warnings. they call this an illegal encampment cleanup. it is estimated that as nearly as 20 people were affected. >> mark: students in hayward will be returning to a new campus the school was rebuilt from the ground up. this is one of five hayward schools that have gone under massive renovation or complete louisville. the project is the first of a
