it's a little bit of information about our subjects into the weapons he obtains, and the last 60 days he purchased for guns at a local metro have shops and all through the internet he purchased over 6000 rounds of ammunition. he had hundreds of rounds into the internet also purchased multiple magazines for the assault rifle including 1100 around the drum magazine that was recovered from the scene. i have been asked if the weapon was automatic or semiautomatic, i cannot answer that question right now but i am told by experts even if it was semiautomatic the drum magazine he could have gotten off a 50-60 rounds

even if it was just semi- automatic within one minute. as far as we know it was a pretty rapid case of fire. this evening at 4:00 p.m., members of the police department and the many supporting agencies that have provided victims service advocates to support as met with approximately seven family excuse me, 70 members, family and friends who had not had an accounting of their missing loved ones. we met with them for approximately 90 minutes and discuss our efforts. we do the best we could deal with their grief and anguish. we're hopeful that some time in the next hour of

>> i cannot emphasize enough the support of all of our colleagues in the local law enforcement in handling that extraordinarily difficult task. we were also aided by our own police department psychologist. our public schools has made available to high schools for tomorrow beginning at 9:00 a.m. for professional grief counseling and other resources. those two schools will open at 9:00 a.m.. the superintendent was with us to meet with families. their support has been tremendous. in addition i will talk about a paris street location, we evacuated five apartment buildings including the apartment building of the suspect. those evacuees have been

staying at central high school. with regard to the paris location, it is a very vexing problem how to enter the problems -- the apartment safely. if personally i have never seen anything like with the pictures show us is in there. as we have a lot of challenges in order to get in there safely. we decided to postpone action on that until tomorrow. we are also bringing in extra resources to consult on how to deal with the problem. we are hopeful that we will address and resolve the problem tomorrow. unfortunately this means the families that were evacuated have to spend an
