hundreds going to the hospital. here is what they had to say about their experience. some >> yesterday i was in the kitchen cooking dinner for my grandson's. they told me the backyard was on fire. with this small bit of it was the backyard but i told them it was the refinery. >> we heard a loud explosion and then a second explosion. >> i had just gotten to the meeting. i was there only five minutes when the alarm went off. we knew right away that something was wrong. we went outside and saw the smoke. we have to get out of the area as quickly as possible. >> eyes wander around and looked like someone cuts the lights off.

and early morning fire in the 1500 block. about a half-dozen of businesses destroyed. firefighters were fighting from the ground the 120 firefighters to nearly two hours to get the blaze out. a backdraft situation. that is when there is very little oxygen and that a door is opened, oxygen goes and and it creates an explosion. that is what happened in this situation. about 10 firefighters were blown back. >> when the door open,
