the crowd was heckling and booing officials from the start. many unleashed their anger on the panel and gave it a piece of their mind. >> i am fed up, we are all fed up! >> reporter: several times the general manager of the refinery was barely able to respond to the hostile crowd. >> we want to take care of our employees and the community for last night's incident i take responsibility. >> reporter: people wanted to know why it took chevron 10 minutes to push the emergency button after the fire to meet alert emergency personnel. >> i think we could have done it faster but it is very difficult for us as well and a situation like this to the act quickly to get it out. >> justine: hundreds of residents are out raids in

they expect loan lines again on wednesday. >> justine: there is talk that the chevron refinery fire is causing gas prices to go up in california. we already pay some of the highest prices in the nation at the pump. charles clifford talk with people filling up. >> reporter: driver stopped to fill up their cars today and they were faced with higher prices at the pump. one element--one test of gas went up 155. >> when i saw that definitely with no doubt, from my experience i knew. >> reporter: this man was not very happy about it. >> i had to pay $100 to fill up my vehicle. i did not think prices would increase this quick maybe one week or one month but

right now we have overall clear conditions. we do not see too much and we'll cloud coverage. temperatures are running on the mild side. into the afternoon we will see nothing but sunshine. temperatures are mild to warmer for our coastal and bayshores locations. this will start to begin for the inland communities we are talking mid-90s for a handful of spots. into the morning hours we will see mostly clear conditions and temperature starting to drop. heading outside of your house we will see mid- 60s and antioch, and we have '50s and other areas. now check this out, yesterday we had '70's in the south bay but i think we will see a east--but i think we will see some 80 degree temperatures. we could see mid-90s for places like fairfield and antioch and ninth on tap for pittsburgh.

>> reporter: jerry law officer pleaded guilty to the shooting of victims in the tucson supermarket. a later sentencing hearing he is expected to get life without parole. lofner initially diagnosed as schizophrenic the judge ruled that he is competent enough to go along with the plea deal. among those wounded in the shooting was the then congresswoman gabriel giffords. her and her husband released a statement saying that they are content with the plea saying that this will help them move forward with their lives. another person at

defending their decision to shoot an unarmed man last saturday in the bayview district. police say as they chase the 33 year-old brian cooper, they notice that he had a handgun. they say he refused to stop and then he eventually fail and that is when the police say he began to turn toward the officers and pointed the gun over his left shoulder. that is the police fired--that is when the police fired and they say the shooting was justified. but the young man's family still had questions for the chief. >> i thought if someone was running you were not supposed to shoot at them. i am trying to figure out why did they shoot him three times he did not shoot at them. >> i know he was hit in the foot, the lower leg and the back consistent with turning. he was not running at the time we do not shoot fleeing felons. he fell to the ground, he stopped and
