big world championship for the little league. well, u.s. championship. they were there in the little league world series, and arrived in the bay area from pennsylvania where they played. it looks like they already got sort of a parade there, too. another bay area city is stepping into the little league spotlight, too. livermore has been selected as the site for next year's little league world series. this world series will be the first for the division that was created for ages 11 to 13, to give them a better idea of what it will feel like in high school. the set-up on the field has the pitching mound 50 feet, and the bases are 70 feet apart. livermore is going to host 8 teams for the world series, including international teams. >> i think if anybody watches the little league world series, sees the exposure it brings to
