close our eyes and find ourselves back their back here. when americans everywhere held each other type seeking reassurance that the world that we saw was not crumbling under our feet spirited we have marked another september 11th 11 times. 11 times we have lost and remembrance the reflections in unity and purpose. this is never an easy day but it is especially difficult for all of you the families and all of the 3000 lost their lives. the mothers, fathers pop, the fathers, the mud the daughters. they were taken from us far too soon.

to you and your family's the rest of us cannot imagine what pain you have in door. we will never fully understand how difficult it is to carry on to summon the strength to rebuild your life. but no matter how many years that have passed, no matter how many years to we come together on this hallowed ground. notice that you will never be alone your loved ones will never be forgotten. they will endure in the hearts of our nation because to their sacrifice they helped us makes the america where we are today. an america that has emerged stronger. most of the americans that we lost back fin. most of them have never heard the name qaeda and yet

it is because of their sacrifice. a qaeda leadership has been devastated and osama bin line will never threatened us again. the country is safer and our people are resilient. yet they have inspired about 5 million americans. members of the 911 generation to wear the uniform over the last decade. these men and women have done everything that we have acts of them. the war in iraq is over and we are training security forces in i've i read. by the end of 2014 the longest war in our history should be over. countless civilians have

opened their hearts to our veterans. 11 years ago memorial services were held for americans of different races decrees and backgrounds. and yet instead of turning us against each other tragedy has now brought us together. many thought that i were fired was a dance of qaeda or religion. but this country was built as a beacon of tolerance and that is what has made a strong. finally when those innocent souls were taken from us they left behind an unfulfilled work and task that might remain undone. that is why on a day when people thought to bring this country down we have brought together services and remembrance. the

scripture tells us that not to be become by evil but to become evil with good. there is no other way to honor the people that died but by discovering the best in ourselves. we should renew our faith that even through the darker days become a brighter day. we come to the pentagon to touch these names and to kneel beside a single stone that still bears the scars. this was just president obama speaking in remembrance of september 11th. >>
