the higher terrain to the north bay could see between 10th and 15th inch of rain. >> thank you erica this morning a redwood city team has died after being hit by a car. she was riding her bike yesterday more in the weather may have been a factor. authorities say the 14 year-old girl was struck by a car at jefferson avenue and alameda after 830. neighbors say it was foggy at the time and rose were slick. off the girl was a freshman at woodside high school she was taken to stanford hospital where she died. >> i heard the girl from my school that hit. i do not think i know her but when i saw the pictures i realized it was this person and i felt very badly. if i could not believe it happened to someone that i know. i heard she was a smart person she knew multiple languages. i

heard that she spoke three languages fluently. she was a little shy. she was a very nice person. >> the driver of the vehicles stayed at the scene and cooperating with police. the cause of the collision is still under investigation. >> retain year-old boy was charged as an adult with attempted murder, sexual assault, and the kidnapping of a 65 year old mormon appeared in court yesterday kavier king was said to be arraigned but the hearing was postponed. according say king about the woman and forced her to drive several miles away where he then assaulted sexually and beat her before leaving her in a ditch. felice has described the attack as random. >> three members of the humboldt county family drowned after trying to save their dog. authorities say and mother, father, and son were walking along the beach about 30 mi. north of eureka on saturday when their dog

welcome back the time is 4:10. we are following a develop a story out of treasure island where there is a police standoff. the exit to and from treasure island interstate 80 have been blocked. we are on the phone with san francisco police department sgt kantor. >> can you tell us what is happening now. >> right now the suspect is positioning himself on the shore up treasure island he is armed with a handgun and threatened to commit suicide the scene is being contained by our technical team and our crisis negotiation team is off this thing. >> the suspect is a 29 year- old named duncan phillips. do we know more about him? apparently he was involved in a rubber that took place in the nation. >> i have no information on

the suspect. the question has imposed earlier but i cannot confirm at this time of their >> right now what is the suspect doing? are you talking to him? is he distraught? >> this incident initiated about 11:00 p.m. with a 911 call regarding a man with a gun. officers spotted the vehicle near the 800 block of bush street. a pursuit began and during the pursuit the suspect fired at least one shot at soaring office. the pursuit ended here on treasure island pictures he ran to the shoreline and brandished a fire arm and threatened to commit suicide. we are in a stand off all sorts. >> so he did try aiming it at officers went that far as the charge? >> at this time we know they did far at least one round at the possibility of

are saying he is on the rocks on treasure island on the west side of treasure island facing san francisco. it is important to tell everyone treasure island is shut down. no one can get on or off the island. because of the incident that is happening. the main road that goes toward that can exit out of treasure island it is happening close to the role they cannot let any of the residents come by. this started lead in p.m. last night. they spotted the suspect try a stolen car near the downtown area on mason and bush in san francisco. a pursuit started in the pursuit he ran red lights he fired at the police officer. he got on the bridge and ended here on treasure island and they have been here ever since. he is on the rocks and
