fortunately. it is currently raining in fear for imports concord as we zoom in and around the bay area you can see light rain for napa, fairfield, portions of interstate 880 through vallejo. since we did see a stray showers through parts of san francisco and to the peninsula no rain but it is serving on the way. to the east bay in walnut creek interstate 680 approaching highway 24 again most of it under the green getting light rain model with iran over dublin, and salmon so. . we are picking up light showers and portions of and respect the system has not approached us. you can see the wet weather activity pushing in close to the bay

welcome back. coming up at 4:15 a.m. on this wednesday morning we are tracking the a big storm and high winds. >> take a look is lit up anny . the storm started to approach the peninsula barrett we are not seen too much rain in the san jose area. regardless i was a brown the bay area to see how it is due in your neighborhood. speaking of light ride for portions of interstate 80. under the green indicates that light rain. i did see rain in

downtown san francisco. we are seeing some now where 101 leads to interstate 80. i expect the heaviest downpour towill occur between 8 and 11:00 a.m.. after we are done with this system we will me to another one into thursday night. it is currently raining over the nimitz freeway. approaching the san mateo bridge the dumbarton bridge take a look at the yellow for portions of interstate 680. we are picking up some light rain in the milpitas area. we are still currently drive for the southern peninsula. satellite and radar shows a wider view the moisture is streaming its way into the bay area. this system has gained a lot of strength. we do have a wind advisory in effect from 4:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. today. with that

we could see wind gust top out at 70 mi. per hour along with coastal regions. 50 mi. per hour gusts everywhere else. a lot of instability and unstable weather in the area that we have potential for a thunderstorm. futurecast 4 look at the 8:00 hour is in the heaviest rain will start to occur. most of the north bay is under the yellow. this is the main front passing through. it will be over the entire bay area at 10:00 a.m.. a lot of cloud cover the wins will pick up as well. it will push out of the bay area as we head into the afternoon scattered showers of the back end. we will move to a dry pattern as we head into lead tonight. yes, we do have the wind advisory drive with extra caution. are in a low profile vehicle and if you are going over the bridges. in terms of afternoon highs 59 for daly city. 69 and oakland. your kron 4 7 day around the bay forecast

slamming us. the upstart in the north bay that will get hit especially hard as many as 10 in. of rain in some locations. you can see it coming down good now. let us go live to our sole reporter kron 4 news jackie sissel. >> good morning jackie. >> good morningsdarya. we started to see a moderate rain come down about 10 minutes ago. it is not heavy at this obviously we are expecting more as the morning goes on. you can see the roadway is starting to weget wet. this is just the first part of the storm we are expecting a lot of wet weather before the morning is over. >> thank you jackie. we will be checking with jacket to cover that part of the bay area throughout the morning. >> look at that.

>> we are picking up light rain for most of the bay area we were catching a dry break in the south bay. we are contending with wet weather now. let us see where it is raining. sausalito portions of highway 101 over the golden gate bridge. as we push it in further let us take a look at street debut. here is a look at san francisco. 19th avenue as well as park presidio are dealing with rain currently drive for downtown san francisco. the raid its creeping its way in. light rain for the coast line pacifica stretching into burlingame and san mateo. wet conditions on most of our bridges and in addition we have a wind advisory. watch your speeds and drive with extra caution. the wind advisory is in effect until 11:00 a.m.. storm tracker 4 in the

south bound 23 minute drive time out of novato doubt to the golden gate bridge. >> thank you george 5:19 a.m. the family of a nine year-old girl was killed by a truck and motorcyclists has reached a 6075000 settlement with the city of novato. this is the video of the crime scene back in 2009. melody osgheroff and her father were struck by edward chafers motorcycle. melody's father had to have one of his legs amputated. schaefer was convicted on charges of murder in vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. he later died in san quentin state prison where he was serving his sentence. the family sued the city of novato clearly the city had not properly maintained road or the crosswalk. >> 50 euro accused of killing a man and injuring a police officer in san jose will be tried as adults.
