aid will answer questions regarding his wall art rampage on sunday. he faces four felony counts of assault, hit and run, resisting arrest and still more drug charges. it was in court yesterday for range of previous charges dating back to 2012. they include possession of drugs, vandalism, hit and run and resisting arrest. >> new this morning discharging their firearms after an altercation with an armed robber. the robbery was reported in the 1000 block of clay street shortly before 10 last night. when police arrived, the suspect fled. police caught up with him and 1000 block of jefferson street. officers attempted to detained three suspects, one officer shot a suspect. the victim is being treated for non light trading injuries. there were no injuries to the officers. >> police and gilroy are

investigating a homicide and a another attempted homicide. it happened in the overnight hours and the 7300 block of chestnut street. when police arrived they found two victims, were both taken to local hospitals. the first victim and 30 year-old male was pronounced dead at a hospital. the second victim, a 37 year-old male is expected to survive. no further information is available at this time. anyone and informations last call the gilroy police department. >> connecticut lawmakers have approved a wide-ranging legislation in response to last year's deadly school shooting in new town, including gun control measures and then the sales of large capacity ammunition magazines and more than 100 weapons that previously have been illegal. >> the governor is expected to sign the bill today. some of the measures take effect right away. those include expansion of the state's assault weapons ban,

background checks for all firearms sales and then of a sale magazines sold more than 10 rounds. >> u.s. senator dianne feinstein renewed her call for a ban on assault weapons. the california senator was in san francisco speaking to the commonwealth club. senator feinstein says, though the band has been pulled from the overall gun control package, it will be introduced on the floor of the senate as an amendment. and while she says it is unclear if there are enough votes to pass it, it is the right thing to do. >> i know is the right thing so i tried. if i fail i try again. >> senator feinstein blamed the national rifle association for instilling fear in senators. she says, they fail to vote their conscience of concern they will lose their seats in congress if they oppose the gun lobby. >> 4:09 . this is the time

heavy rain. off also closer to sausalito. potential hazardous drivers conditions for high 101. all service streets are affected. the heaviest rain, it looks like it just popped up to the mission district around ocean beach in the richmond district. at these the outer portion contending with heavy rain now. let us use one of our tools and see exactly how hard rain is coming down right now. over the 10th of an inch per hour in most locations where you are seeing that yellow. as we take it over to the east bay take a look at oakland the nimitz freeway 980 traffic heading closer to the bay bridge under the yellow indicating moderate to heavy rain. also singing heavy rain over in walnut creek, highway 24 where it meets tie with 680. the heavier rain we were tracking a my last report round walnut creek has continued upward. crown antioch, highway 4. keep

that in mind. rain is certainly coming down there. taking a look at rain fall rates. rain is falling at almost an inch per hour. >> this is coming off the antioch bridge. we have a lot of yellow for the willow bypass. heavier rain there. light rain in dublin and for those of you driving through downtown livermore. light rain right now for the 80 corridor heading closer into milpitas. light rain for downtown san jose and around the airport. heavy rain has just infiltrated the mid peninsula. the entire bayshore freeway and to the yellow indicating pretty heavy rain. you will need your wipers. the chp reporting highway flooding. keep that in mind as you leave your house for work or school. that is where our rain is currently in the bay area. i want to take a look at radar and satellite. look at how big the system is in comparison to the state of california. we have not seen

rain like this for quite some time. when this is said and done several spots could see it over an inch of rain. >> futurecast 4 walked to the timing. the system arrived earlier than expected. originally we thought the heaviest rain will fall between 6-8:00 a.m.. the heaviest rain has already arrived. my sixth heavy rain predominately for the delta, nabokov and vallejo. those could catch a break for the coast. putting the clock into motion a.m. the heavy rain turns to showers. the showers will taper off through the course of the day pops of light green on your screen indicates where we will see the light rain. here is a look at some of the totals in the past four hours. santa rosa a quarter of an inch. just trace amounts for san jose. have not seen anything in livermore. the totals are going to go up within the next couple of hours. full details on what to expect coming up in just a bit. in the meantime your your kron 4 7 day around the

area we will update you on the story as more permission comes in. >> meanwhile we have an update rescuers found a missing hiker in california. another one is still missing. to got lost in cleveland's national forest on sunday. rescuers were able to locate one and lifted him out of the canyon. the 19 year-old was suffering from exposure and taken to hospital. >> 18 year-old jack is still missing. the teenagers called for help on sunday telling deputies they cannot find their car. their cell phone batteries die before rescuers could get a precise and g p s location. >> at least one former player defense the coach of rutgers university. >> this is video showing head coach mike rice pushing members of this team and throwing basketballs at

yellow blanket in the bay area. the heaviest rain to the bay area has just reached the coastline. we're picking up heavy rain for san francisco, sausalito. even heavy rain for the east shore freeway. berkeley in oakland. i want to zoom in on the city itself. you can see downtown san francisco, market street contending with heavy rain. in fact, as we take a look at rain fall rate we're not seeing that much around oak street, market street. heavy rain around ocean beach. turning to the east bay. oakland, piedmont heavy rain in some locations. just depends on where you are especially around the limits freeway. >> rain fall rate their content of an inch per hour. this is right around were oakland beat piedmont and highway 13. >> turning our attention to the rest of the bay area you can see martinez, concord contending with heavy rain. it is coming down in antioch

entire stretch of the freeway from san francisco to where mike is in san mateo you can see the man from the band has reached the coast line. it continues to push east. we are contending with the heaviest rainfall the morning. we saw good amounts in santa rosa saw a quarter of an inch of rain. a zoom in on your neighborhood to see exactly where the rain is falling. heavy rain for 101 heading out to the golden gate bridge. we're also singing for berkeley, walnut creek, san leandro, san francisco as well. for zooming in you can see the yellow indicating my raw to heavy rain which dominates the area. we're getting a decent amount of rain. rainfall rates are showing a 10th of an inch per hour. let affecting the market street ride, 19th street and park persidio. >> not to bad for the east bay shoreline from berkeley

revenue is soaring this year. approaching $1 billion at the the company started to splice at into mobile phones and tablets. this news comes a day before facebook unveiled its h pc phone with goals and toward software. the- marketer is expecting facebook to reap $965 million in the u.s. mobil ad revenue in 2013. that is about 2.5 times the $391 million in 2012. facebook is no. 2 behind cool when it comes to mobile advertisements. >> walgreen is expanding the reach of its drug store clinics beyond treating a close friend and sinus infections to having chronpaneling chronic diseases such as diabetes and high
