quick commute check shows that only slowing to be found in the east bay is on interstate 580 and highway 4. even those two freeways are lighter than usual. we're still seeing light ride for the peninsula. >> the time is 6:01 a.m.. >> we are following a developing story out of san francisco where police are searching for a suspect who let the money chase before ditching the car. kron4 jackie sissel is live from the scene near san francisco state with more. >> actually, the car ended up slamming into the barricades here. this whole thing started and it was a wild chase. it started about 3:00 a.m. this morning we do have video of the. apparently, a cab was reported stolen and the san francisco police department's spotted the

stolen cab and were able to track it down be a satellite. the chase pursuit on 19th avenue and went down to 80 near at&t park. it made a u-turn and came back onto 80 and went down some surface streets. it made a another u-turn and headed back down to 80 northbound toward san francisco state university. optimally, this is where it ended up in the driver of the cab got out and ran. the cab itself slammed here and he left on foot. at this point they check the the perimeter and made an act of shirts. we had a chance to talk to one of the students here who sought whole thing. >> we were just riding a round and we came out and saw this taxicab roll up and this guy jumps out of it

earlier this week has died. 34 year-old quinn boyer died at highland hospital yesterday afternoon. he was in critical condition. investigators say that he crashed his car off and to reveal after the shot in the head while driving. kron4 spoke with one of his co- workers at santa clara county ambulance. >> when this happens to one of your co-workers, you feel that there's no way to separate yourself from this. it is very difficult to get through this. >> police say the they believe a robbery may have been the most of behind the shooting. there are no suspects and no are arrests that have been made. giants fan brian stowe, who was badly beaten after a giants game at dodger stadium two years ago. >> haamaid zaid, the man,

police say, crashed his car into a san jose wal-mart on easter sunday has now been charged with attempted murder. the started three year-old made brief appearance in court yesterday. he was arraigned on 12 counts of assault, a hit and run, reckless driving and the attempted murder charge. >> police say, that zaid also is the man behind a very similar incident that happened back in december. we are seeing the dramatic video. police say that he was behind the will, when his car came crashing through the capital car wash in san jose. he bailed out after only being charged with a misdemeanor in that crash. now over the weekend, the very similar incident at wal-mart. he is convicted on

after the robbery of a le c heval restaurant worker in enclave street. the victim was beaten and robbed by three men riding bicycles in a parking lot. she came back to the restaurant called the police. oakland police chief howard jordan says someone who witnessed the crime pointed out three teens standing near a tent and jefferson as suspects. >> according to the officer's statement they received a threat and fired a single mom. >> the teenager who was shot was grazed by a bullet to his job and has not life- threatening injuries. real suspects behind the robbery are still on the loose. >> the parents of three autistic kindergartners

have sued the antioch unified school district, a former teacher and four administrators over alleged abuse of the children's by the teacher. the civil rights lawsuit alleges that teacher to resetheresa allen-c aulboy strut, pinched and bruised the three autistic children and her special education class at mno grant elementary school last fall and in january. in january, the district informed her that she was being placed on administrative leave during an investigation of allegations. she resigned on february 13th. antioch police have referred the case to the contra costa county district attorney's office for possible filing
