>> families of those killed in the shooting rampage in a small oakland university last year are remembering their loved ones. just days after the one-year anniversary of the massacre. the university host a benefit concert on saturday in memory of the victims at st. paul's episcopal church in oakland. seven people were killed in the shooting at oikos university on april 2nd of last year. investigators said the gunman one hoh former oikos student planned the shooting after becoming angry with school officials out over to wish a dispute. the university professor lia little, who taught all of the victims were killed including the gunman, explains how tough it was to

officials as the attempts were unsuccessful, since the two were already below ground when the wall collapsed. neighbor say the two were cousins. investigators are working to determine why the basement collapsed. >> a man who took hostages and hillary clinton presidential campaign office back in 2007 has escaped from a minimal security correctional facility in new hampshire. >> authorities say leland eisenberg first lead missing during an afternoon headcount. expected on your screen. now back in november 2007 eisenberg took control of clinta clinton campaign office claiming to have a bomb. no one was hurt during the five hour standoff and the bomb was later revealed to be road flares. if found it will be charged with escape a felony which is punishable by three and half to seven years in prison. >> a u.s. diplomat was among six americans killed

in afghanistan this weekend. smoke from a roadside bombing was in the air here in the southern afghan province of zabul saturday. you can see emergency personnel treating injured people following the attack. five americans died in the blast including 25 year-old anne smedinghoff . she was delivering books to a school where her convoy came under attack. it is believed she was the first american diplomats killed since is a timber terrorist attack in benghazi, libya. secretary of state john kerry spoke about meeting per days before the attack. >> officials have not said whom they believe is responsible for the blast over the weekend. >> president barack obama is scheduled to release his budget until wednesday, but

is still recovering a local hospital. >> meanwhile, in northern california the kayaker is being credited with helping to save a family of five after the s u v there were driving had veered off eroded ended up in a river. the family was driving along highway 50 near the community of kyburz last week when there s u v with off the road, hit a concrete mile marker, a large tree, a bolder than lead to the american river. a kayaker was on the river and helped get three children out of the car and safely to the shore. firefighters later arrived safely remove the driver and his wife out of the car all passengers are ok this morning. >> the world health organization is talking with the chinese government about sending international export to china to help investigate a new bird flu strain that has sickened 21 people,

a virginia gardens apartment saturday night, 25 year-old fish mysismael garcia ramirez ws shot in the head. the attack happened in the parking lot. witnesses described the suspect 29 year-old vincent ochoa . after a search of the area, authorities found him at his apartment on monument boulevard near victory lane not far from the crime scene. he was arrested without incident. >> three men are now behind bars suspected of stealing $22,000 for the gift cards. petaluma police believe 18 year-old zack fortune is the main suspect. they said early thursday morning fortune stole a box with
