they've also released a sketch of the suspect. they say he grabbed a toddler in pittsburg. then dropped her when the mother began to yell. tonight the little girl is safe -- but the suspect is still on the loose. as kron's terisa estacio reports - people are on edge about what happened. >> terisa estacio: pittsburg resident charles shelton holds on to the flier passed out by police following the kidnapping of his neighbor's daughter. he says the flier is great, but he wants to see more. >> i don't think people are taking this seriously, this is serious. it is so shocking, in my 23 eyars, this 5 doors down from me. this is appaulling. >> reporter: do you recognize him? next door, to shelton, ramandeep kaur is certainly paying attention. she plans to take immediate action. >> i will not let me sister and brother out to play, and lock and put on

the n-b-a says its relocation committee has voted unanimously to recommend that the sacramento kings stay in sacramento. the owners of the kings had been pushing the kings be sold to a group that would move the team to seattle. but the relocation committee, made up of 12 nba owners, held a conference call on monday and will forward its recommendation to the nba board of governors. the board of governors will vote on the matter in may. the owners will not vote until seven days after they receive the findings of the committee. >> jacqueline: lee sent a couple of record highs. one in santa rosa, 90. things cooling off some and all have more on the hot weather ahead coming up. look at them kids. a tragedy on waters at the vallejo municipal marina. a san francisco county sheriff's deputy was found dead in the water. divers searched the marina looking for deputy michael roberts after his boat was found drifting in the water at 6:30 this morning. his wallet and cell phone were still on board and the keys were in the ignition. for 8 hours there was a search. then about 3 this afternoon -- other boaters spotted his body.floating face down. >> any time we get a tragic incident like this, it is also-as always a very difficult to deal with. we hope it is a mishap. francisco sheriff's office in 1998. he worked mostly in the jails.
