fires are spreading right now in napa county, this is as the north and east bay are in a red flag warning. >> more on the weather as we are going to see unseasonably high temperatures around the bay area today, but also strong winds will last throughout the morning. >> we will see plenty of 80s outside. it is 84 year high in sunnyvale. it will be a another one day around the bay. if there will be a wind one. we do have a wind advisory in affect. a red flag warning pushes into the 6:00 hour. if this is for anyone above a thousand feet. i will have a full detail of what you should expect not only today but

the weekend. >> we are now tracking a number of incidents that may have the potential to be a hot spot. on 37 westbound just pass highway 121 there is a big semi truck that is blocking a lame. this makes it a problem and there may be close enough to 121. however, this is a major route and if you drive this every morning did you know how it may be perry ed here in the south bay northbound 17 at hamilton, chp has a another special traffic advisory. two of the four lanes are blocked and the northbound direction. so far the traffic is pretty light. >> fire crews are working a

fire in the yountville area just north of napa up. the flames broke out run the 11:45 p.m. last night and have burned 15 a.. the fire is 25 percent contained, crews are hoping to have it fully contained by 8:00 a.m.. there are reports of a few other small on 1 a. fire is just south of the yountville fire off of the silverado trail area. a total of three happening right now. overnight gust and the area got up to 44 mi. per hour. >> a red flag warning is across the bay area and it is in the effect throughout tonight. the national weather service has issued a red flag warning for the north bay hills, east bay hills and the diablo range.

kron4 mike pelton joins us now from the berkeley hills area with more information. >> you can see the sign that is posted. fire officials stated that this is coming early in the fire season and we may have a very long fire season. they have a lot of dead and dry brush and that means that it may be explosive conditions for wild fires. this is due to a combination of higher winds and temperatures. there is a statewide ban on burning-barbequing. is it is supposed to be very nice weather but this does mean that it will have an impact or you cannot let up your grill. there are fire crews working to battle other fires as well. they are working to give full

containment of these fires. you can smell a lot of the smoke in the bay area. the national weather service center stated that some of the smoke will be drifting in. if you have got to work, you may be wondering what the smell is. it is a fire that is burning up north. officially, all of this nice weather that we have seen comes with a down side. >> there are no goodbyes, take care my sister. >> it was an emotional candlelight vigil that was held at jenny lind elementary school last night to honor eight your old lei la fowler who was killed over the weekend and calaveras county. people

wore her favorite colors, pink and purple while mourning the loss of the little girl. >> an autopsy was performed and the county corner says that fowler was stabbed multiple times while inside of her home on saturday, the young girl bled to death. law enforcement has interviewed sex offenders in the area. if of boards are not saying that sexual assault was part of the crime. there has been an intense three day manhunt that has turned up no clues. police do not even have enough to prove a suspect's name, nor a sketch. >> i want justice to the country. we are not in the city, we're in the country.

breaking temperatures. some spots could actually reach the triple digits. it will be cooler conditions for the weekend. the temperatures will go by sunday. in fact, a few locations may seek 25 to 30 degrees. >> we have been monitoring a couple incidents one, which is not a hot spot this is a 17 in the northbound direction. these are the very same freeways and it just changes number. as you come out of campbell the traffic now is starting to back up. three of the available four lanes northbound are blocked by this accident. the chp has issued a special traffic advisory. so far, it is backed up to camden. it is not all the way back into los gatos. we may be looking at a major problem as it wears on. we continue to

the opening bell. >> taking a look at wall street this morning. future trading shows all three indexes are positive this morning. if reports that ibm bud raise its dividend helped pull the dow and s&p 500 out of a morning slump yesterday. here is a look that the closing numbers. the dow fell as much as 84 points in the morning trading but ended with a gang of 21 points and 14,839. the nasdaq rose the 22 points to close at 3328. the s&p 500 is up nearly 4 points to close at 1597. will be watching the numbers all morning starting at 630. >> it will not be really hot but it will be warmer than average. it will be almost 20 degrees warmer than what we saw. we may see a few

going to be awhile before you finally get your hands on it? >> we will be up there all day battling the fire and we will have helicopters helping us. even though it is rough terrain we have been trained for it. >> a lot of people are concerned when they see fires like this the direction that they're moving in. will they need to voluntarily evacuate? >> right now we do not have any evacuations that are in place, we try to give our residents as much notice as possible to evacuate the area. know what you need to do it if you do have to evacuate and evacuate early.

george. >> we have been tracking a hot spot in the south bay campbell's 17th northbound at hamilton ave. three lanes are black, one has been cleared. it is backing out from campbell's 17 northbound. all lanes are now open and flows much better for that very popular in heavily traveled south beirut. 17 northbound, all lanes open at hamilton. the crash is still on the shoulders though it will still slow things. we're seeing back up headed toward 121 on 37 westbound with the right lane remaining block. there is also an oil spill reported here. they still have not cleared the lanes of his berry and boulevard. bay bridge westbound, there is a
