the top stories on this monday, may 6th. a night of celebration turns tragic for a group of friends. when investigators know about a limo fire that killed five women over the weekend. >> police along the peninsula are looking for the people responsible for a shooting that injured six people including a six year-old child. >> changes are in store for the forecast, cooler temperatures and a chance for some sprinkles. >> you can see that there are a few spots of rain this morning. this is indicating just a spotty sprinkler to just the stuff palo alto. things are going to get a little bit more active late this morning and into the afternoon. future cast 4

driver noticed smoke, coming from the limo, then pulled over. shortly after, the limo burst into flames. rescue crews rushed to the fire bart were unable to save the brbright. four of her friends were also killed all burned so badly that officials needed their dental records confirm their identities. four other women were able to escape, and were treated for smoke inhalation and burns. >> we are now getting images of two of the women who survive the ordeal. one of them is jasmine dezgeeuh of san jose. a another victim, married gardeeano, from

alameda. investigators still looking into that. the two other victims who survived the fire were and nelia arreyano o oakland and amalia loyola of san leandro. the driver of the vehicle managed to escape without injury. >> new information is bound to come out. here is video from youtube this was caught on someone cellphone. you can see the limo and a ball of fire. one of the women not on the petition to tell him that they smelled smoke and he thought that they were asking could they smoke in the limo. he stated no. he quickly pulled over by the time that happened only four of them were able to

get out. for whatever reason the other five cannot get out. they could not open the door to get out. the fact that the fire happened in the back of the limousine is still a mystery. investigators have hauled away in the limousine and there are looking into the possibility to get information on what costa fire. they're asking anyone who was driving in the area to call them if they saw any thing. just to make this even sadder, there were only were only four minutes away from their final destination. >> officers are respondents

investigating a possible murder charges against the owner of a shoddily build a factory that collapsed nearly two weeks ago after the wife of a garment worker crushed in the accident filed a complaint. the legal development comes as the death toll from the country's worst industrial disaster has reached 645. a wife of one of the victims fledfiled the complaint claiming that her husband and other workers were " pushed toward death " by the building owner. >> the west fertilizer company, operators of the fertilizer plant that exploded last month has a million dollars in liability insurance. if this is according to the company's attorney. that's still will not be enough to cover the

mateo bridge killing five women in a bachelorette party. there were nine women in this limbo that you see on your screen. this is from our helicopter partnership with abc 7 news. they were celebrating a friend's marriage when this person to flames on westbound. the women could not get out of the limo. the smoke was coming from the back by the time the driver noticed that. it was too late. five of them including the bride died in the vehicle. four were able to get out of the limo and that actually had to get out of this little window and walked through the front of the limo. if they are looking as to why it burst into flames and how this tragedy happened. >> if there are a lot of questions around this and we

are hoping to get more answers. the chp is scheduling a press conference around 10:00 a.m.. >> the chp and other first responders will be here. they were the ones who called for this new conference and it has been a little bit over 24 hours since this happened. here is video from youtube. as you can see, the limo was already in a ball of fire. some of the drivers pulled over to help, but it was too late. all they could do was consoled the survivors. they want to know whether not the limousine was already on fire before anyone noticed that. they want witnesses who might have been in the area to let them know. if

they have already hauled away the limousine so they can review it. the fact that the fire happens in the back of this limo was still a mystery. they want to know why the women were not able to escape from the back door. perhaps, it was some type of electrical problem. four people are in the hospital this morning, there are only four survivors. i had a chance to talk to one of the survivors friends. >> she needed assistance very bed lay because the car was on fire. i went to visit her but i cannot go went to see her. i went to the hospital so i could see if she was okay. >> this limits it is 14 years old. it was built in

their canoe capsizes in a reservoir near a los gatos. a little after 1 and yesterday the sheriff's office got a report that a canoe caring for people capsized in lexington reservoir. this is video from our helicopter partnership with abc 7 news. two other people in the canoe manage to get back to shore. the other two were found in the water after a board is a ride. there were both transported to the hospital where they were declared dead. all four people in the canoe were family members. none of them were wearing a life vest. >> investigators continued to search for clues in the fatal stabbing of 8 year-old leila fowler. she was found stabbed to death in her home in valley springs and the calaveras county back on april 27th. investigators used a metal detectors around her home on sunday. died teams also searched to
