this is last photograph of anna al can tara. taken moments before she died. the 46- year old sent it to her husband so he could see how pretty she looked on saturday night. i saw the limo when i got there but the fire was out already abner al can tara tells kron 4 news his wife was looking forward to a night out celebrating with friends. the happiness turned to horror. he remembers getting that life shattering phone call her co-worker called me, >> almost 12, she told me there's been an accident, my wives limo in san mateo i don't want to believe it. >> reporter: when he arrived at the accident scene on the brige, authorities asked him to follow them. he new then something was terribly wrong. >> i still don't know what really happened i just know that my wife was there .my heartbreaks . abner must now >> reporter: raise their two

(male announcer): this is the bay area news station, kron 4 news starts now. >> pam: time trapped -- a seemingly normal home, on a quiet block in ohio. until their escape monday. catherine heenan is here now with more on the kidnapped womens daring escape. >> catherine: it really is amazing story on monday nightmonday night.a decade-long nightmare ended for three women imprisoned in this house in cleveland. the suspects -- three brothers. all of them in custody tonight. >> and when they came out it was just astonishing! >> catherine: the women had all disappeared within a few miles of each other.in separate cases. a celebration outside the hospital in cleveland where the young women were initially taken after their release. friends and family -

delighted and shocked. amanda berry was 16 when she disappeared on the eve of her birthday in 2003. she's now 27. also held captive.gina dejesus who was 14 when she vanished in 2004 on her way to school. she's now 23. the third woman - michelle kidnapped in 2002.she's now >> catherine: 32. this hospital photo is the first image of a beaming amanda berry. her sister is on the left. on the right - her 6-year-old daughter - born during her captivity. a neighbor heard amanda screaming monday - trying to get out the front door. he agreed to help.thinking >> he says help me get out she's is tell me get out of running a long time and kick the bottom she comes out with a little girl my name is amanda barry caught on and on one. >> catherine: at first that it was a domestic violence incident. when police arrived they found amanda berry holding she told them there were 2 other women also missing for over a decade - still inside the house. they'd all been tied up. amanda had managed to break free. police have arrested 52- year-old ariel castro - a former bus driver. and.two

other men.identified as his brothers. >> catherine: investigators say there were up to five pregnancies over the years the women were held. but there were miscarriages - when the women were either beaten or malnourished. >> catherine: monday night - doctors said the women are all in fair condition. >> catherine: as fbi agents continue to go through the house where the women were held. neighbors are talking about odd things they remember. some heard yelling.and say windows were always covered. one person says she once saw a naked woman in the backyard. police reportedly did respond to calls about the house.but neighbors say the >> pam: officers never went inside. it appears that all three women may have been kept prisoner just a few miles away from where they were taken.

>> reporter: this is a global street view of where the home of weather grows worse here is an overview area of the home index of stories... this is a google street view of the home in cleveland, oh where amanda berry, gina dejesus, and michelle knight were kept prisoner. this is the door that the girls and a neighbor kicked in so that they could escape. now, this home is along seymour avenue... if we zoom out... here's an overhead view of the house. and it's believed that all three girls were kidnapped from nearby loraine avenue.. which runs here... michelle knight was last seen august 22nd 2002 near the corner of west 116th and loraine... about 3 and half miles from the house on seymour. amanda berry disappeared a few month later on april 21st 2003. she was taken after leaving work at burger king here near west 110th and loraine. and gina dejesus disappeared a year later on april second 2004 after leaving her middle school near west 105th and loraine.

they say this could be a long investigation - with a lot of questions to be answered. >> catherine: if anyone knows what the three women.who were just released from captivity in cleveland are feeling. it's jaycee dugard. dugard was held captive for 18-years by a sex offender and his wife in placerville. she gave birth twice while in captivity. as did at least one of the women in cleveland. dugard issued a statement about the horrific crime in cleveland. in it she says says quote " these individuals need the opportunity to heal and connect back into the world. this isn't who they are. it is only what happened to them. the human spirit is incredibly resilient. more than ever this reaffirms we should never give up hope.unquote. >> catherine: our other big story tonight -- the deadly limosine fire.
