>> concord, livermore, these sustained wind speeds with relatively low humidity. and dry. the wind has been testing and in oakland, 23. 26. concord, 22 and livermore is having a wind gusting now on kron4. hot temperatures and dry situation. area. a deadly southwest tornado outbreak. one twister alone leaving a at this hour, we are getting a clearer picture of the stunning wreckage left behind. i'm pam moore. the news at five is next. high temperatures making for high fire danger. already. flames have broken out across the bay area. this is video over vacaville -- more on this fire in a moment. but first -- crews have now contained a large grass fire in orinda.

were hurt. he fourth teen today, kron 4 talked the father of the teen killed. the car the teens were in. was borrowed. the father goes onto say, maybe it was a case of mistaken identity. two suspects were seen fleeing the scene -- possibly in a waiting gray of silver sedan. a teenager in san jose is dead. hit by a car on his way to school. police say, the high school student was riding a bike on east capitol expressway. the colission happening in or near a crosswalk. at the intersection of silver creek just after 7:30am. this is video from our helicopter partnership with abc 7 news. the victim -- a sophmore at silver creek high, was *not wearing a helmet at the time of crash. the driver was let go -- no word on any charges. governor jerry brown says. he does not know if the new eastern span of the bay bridge will open over labor day weekend as scheduled. this is the first time the governor is acknowledging serious concerns about the new span. he says, his administration is reviewing construction documents of the six- billion dollar project.

oklahoma is trying to look for as many survivors as possible. search efforts will continue through the night. we have just learned just a moment ago that president obama has called the governor of zero to express his concerns about everything that has happened today. he has said in a special team in la to help resources find survivors through the tornado. >> estimated that the tornado was 1 mi. wide and more oklahoma. in elementary school suffered eight direct hits from the dangerous part later. >> no storm shelters in the

missing following yesterday's race. beau rasmussen was last seen at twelve p-m. at the finish of the bay to breakers race. he told his friends he was heading to the beach. but he has not been seen since. his cell phone and wallet were found nine hours later. on the beach near the beach chalet restaurant. rasmussen stands at six- feet- two. and is 195 pounds. he has a fair complexion. with reddish- brown hair. >> there were some of rest yesterday from the bay to breakers yvette. san francisco police made 21 arrests. now a look at the crime numbers from this years bay to breakers. san francisco police made 21 -arrests for public intoxication. one for possession of a firearm, and and another for felony robbery. arrests slightly done from last year. just because the arrest numbers were lower, doesn't mean everyone was following the rules on the race to prove it. tonight at six, kron 4's stanley roberts shows us. the people behaving badly.
