shooting. last sunday 2 teenagers were shot to death near independence high school. kron 4's alecia reid has the latest on the most recent doing to help curb the violence. it was in this carport where police found a 35 year old man suffering from stab wounds that he died from a half hour later at valley medical center.it's the fifth homicide this week in san jose. neighbors say this normally quiet street was surrounded with police friday night. hi new line >>our cameras found police mag-lio-cco drive a day after the stabbing. police say there will be dozens of extra officers on the streets of san jose this weekend, targeted at curbing gang violence ---- which they believe is the cause of at least 2 of the shootings earlier in the week. one neighbor moved in not too

wound. as of now officers have no suspects. oakland police are planning a news conference on monday to address "side shows" in the city. >> the search efforts are growing for a missing 19- year-old bay area man. last seen nearly two weeks ago. his family tells us they are especially concerned because the teen suffers from a brain injury. kron 4's mike pelton joins us live from golden gate park where the makeshift search center is today. good morning mike. >> police was so focused their search efforts today. volunteers will break golden gate park up into a grid and do a thorough search of that

officials in the south bay are wondering what caused a huge oak tree to topple over. it crashed down on a group of people in a san jose park. take a look at the damage. the san jose fire department says the oak tree is at weighs several tons. it toppled over at around 6-30 saturday evening in willow street park. the tree landed on six cars. two people suffered non-life threatening injuries. the fire department says the tree split in two. part of the it fell on the cars. the other part fell on a bocce ball court, where members of the 49ers coaching staff were playing a game. harbaugh was not there. witnesses say a woman is one of the injured. >> the woman was standing right fare and she crashed down in her leg was broken her head was bleeding people tried to get dry but she could not get out because, the branches were stuck on
