>> good morning, the top stories that we are following on this tuesday june 11th. a developing story out of san francisco. a 2 alarm house fire broke out early this morning and there have been injuries. will have details coming up. >> officials at the san jose state university are on alert this morning after a man exposes himself to a female student on campus. >> we're also keeping an eye on the george zimmerman trial in florida as jury selection continues today. >> we have high clouds today and this is not just the ground covered were contending with yesterday. the temperatures are in the '50s and we will see a few low 80s for the afternoon.

sole reporter kron4 jackie your sissel. >> we have had 80 evacuation's tha damage to homes evacuations that damage to homes. there are called here to the area and when they arrived here they discovered that an outbuilding between two other buildings was on fire. one of the buildings was a vacant building but it had a lot of debris in the inside. the other building had people inside including one child. all eight of these people were able to get out okay. it took them a while to get this under control because it was basically an outbuilding that had vehicles and it. in fact, when firefighters arrived they stated they cannot tell what was on fire because the

flames were so high. it did spread to the two buildings on either side. one firefighter was injured fighting the fire. we had a chance to talk to the pathan and chief earlier and he described the injuries. >> i hear that he is good and that has a swollen ankle. i am not for sure all of his injuries but he is being treated. he went out on a deck and stepped through. >> this is the vacant building where a lot of debris was. they stated that the fire may have started here. there is an empty lot and you can see the exterior of this building. they stated that part of the fire reached all way to the attic and that is what caused the evacuation of this home. eight people were inside including a child and they're all ok. the red cross is out there giving them some help. fire

fighters are expected to be out here is to do my books. >> new this morning san jose state has issued a safety alert after a man exposed himself to a student. it happened around 9:30 p.m. at duncan hall. the woman tells police as she was studying when a man sat down next to her and made small talk. the man then pulled down his pants and exposed himself. the man described as hispanic, 20 to 25 years old. he is around 5 to 6 in. tall, 150 lbs., unshaven, wearing 800 sharks' head. >> a body was recovered from the water at the in the hyde street pier. the person was found underneath the your rica ferryboat a 300 ft steamboat built in 1890. san francisco police are currently investigating the

death. no word yet on how long this body was there. >> in oakland, the chp has found a body underneath a freeway overpass. the corner was called at the scene of the intersection of 23rd street in martinuther king jr., shortly before last night. oakland police are handling the investigation. they say, that the death does not initially appear to be a homicide. we will bring you more details as they become available. >> police in san tableaux are taking new steps to cut down on violent crimes. they're installing more surveillance cameras. those cameras are being installed along the one real boulevard, at market, chelsea, and sanford. police say that those are criminal is hot spots in the sand have low. these cameras will

flasher accosting women along the iron horse trail. we have a composite sketch of the suspect. police say that he has exposed himself and at least six times. he is described as a white male in his 20s, 5 ft. 10 in. tall, with a thin build. he has blonde, a shorter length hair. in a few of the instances he wears a baseball cap and rides a bike. the incidents have all happened between 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.. >> the offices of county courts around the bay area are preparing to accommodate a potential influx of same- sex couples wanting to tie the knot. the u.s. supreme court is expected to make a ruling this month on california's ban on same-sex marriage. the san francisco clarence office has signed up 35 volunteers and they will be preparing to perform
