today, boston jurors in the whitey bulger racketing trial heard emotional testimony from friends of bulger's victims. one woman described how in 1973, she was in a car when it was shot up. she was hit in the arm, while her boyfriend was paralyzed and a friend allegedly killed by bulger and his gang. bulger is accused of participating in 19 killings in the 1970s and '80s. the six jurors who will decide the fate of george zimmerman have been chosen. he's the neighborhood watch volunteer who shot and killed an unarmed teenager in florida last year. zimmerman is charged with second degree murder. he says trayvon martin attacked him and the shooting was in self- defense. the six jurors are all women. there are also four alternates. zimmerman was asked by the jury. :15 ".panel acceptable to

rested. the button donw banditif three people - arrested for suspicion in a string of home burglaries on the peninsula - have pleaded not guilty to several charges. they had been pulled over for a traffic stop in mountain view june 13th.

an officer spotted suspicious property in the car and police say the car was linked to a burglary in sunnyvale. the suspects were reportedly involved in burglaries in palo alto, redwood city, and san mateo county-- all in the same day. stolen property was found inside their homes. police say victims have identified the suspects and have had their property returned, but officers anyone with information on asked to call the redwood city police department. police in livermore have arrested this man -- daniel vierra -- on suspicion of selling and furninshing controlled substances. an investigation into a house in the 17 hundred block of hollyhock street turned up evidence of possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia and at least one person being under the influence of a controlled substance. vierra and seven other people were arrested at the residence, but police say it was vierra that was maintaining the alleged
