usually issues rulings on mondays and thursdays, but for the final week, the court is closing up shop a day early. >> pam: here's the latest. the rulings for proposition 8 and the defense of marriage act will be released tomorrow morning -- at around 7 in the morning our time. there are four options for the court on proposition 8. most of them make the proposition either illegal or unconstitutional. and here are 4 possible outcomes from the supreme court ruling on same sex marriage. >> pam: the simplest outcome is that prop 8 is declared unconstitional which means gay marriage is legal nationwide. the second scenario. prop 8 >> pam: is rejected on more narrow grounds, which mean gay marriages are legal *only in california the third outcome is that prop 8 is upheld and it will then take a voter initiatve to overturn the proposition. >> pam: and the fourth and final scenario, and the one some court watchers consider most likely is this:
