and on the right- san francisco. starting things off here in the weather center. >> but we will have triple digits. it will be 99 degrees for pleasanton and livermore. downtown san francisco will be coming in at 75 degrees. the national weather service has issued a heat advisory for saturday into sunday. monday into tuesday looks like it will be the warmest. we may talk all to about a hundred and five degrees. it will be mainly sunny just some light winds. the inland spots will be in the triple digits. low 70's for the coast line. i will have a closer look at the highs and the seven day of around the bay coming up

regional transit officials are warning people of major gridlock on bay area rose if the strike does happen. the metropolitan transportation commission was talking about the possible fallout. bart has about 400 of the riders a day, including 96,000 who travel across the bay in the trans bay to car during peak commute hours. that is 50% more commuters than in 1997. off because of that, a bigger impact would be expected if there is a strike. the mtc is hoping that a lot of people can work from home. if not, officials are encouraging car pooling and other regional transportation agencies will be reimbursed that helped to carry the passengers. >> commuters who already use
