>>james: welcome back. police in novato are searching for two people who assaulted a young man with a baseball bat late friday night. officers responded to a report of a fight in the 1000 block of ignacio boulevard at about 11 p.m. friday. an 18-year-old man who was struck with a baseball bat was transported to a hospital to be treated for his injuries. two suspects fled the scene after the assault. police have arrested a petaluma man after the say he burglarized a home saturday morning.

grant douglas lowrie woke a homeowner as he was burglarizing a garage attached to a home. the homeowner contacted police after he saw lowrie exit a side door of the rson items. his bike and the homeowner attempted to confront lowrie, but the suspect fled the scene on the bike. police found him hiding behind trees and a search revealed the stolen items. police in pleasanton have arrested a 19-year-old man who allegedly hit another man with his car following an argument in a parking lot at stoneridge mall. witnesses apparently followed the suspect vehicle -- a 2002 chevrolet silverado - as it fled the scene after the collision. officers tracked down the

>>james: we are back at 446. a quick look at your headline to. 19 people were rushed to the hospital after a muni rail accident saturday. the crash is under investigation, but as kron four's terisa estacio reports, officials say they believe they know the cause. and it wasn't muni's fault. it was a violent collision - leaving debris scattered all of the street. and more than a dozen injured people rushed to the hospital. officials say this accident on 3rd and evans in san francisco unfolded after the driver of this white van tried to make a left turn in front of the muni train around 1 saturday afternoon. this is muni spokesperson paul rose. sot/tc: it appears the driver made an illegal
