the fire has been put out. investigators say they found at least 60 marijuana plants inside the house. something firefighters say occurance. >> the people living next door thought that the fire was coming from their home. they called 911 and the fire department came out. they quickly realize that it was not coming from their home. you can see how the smoke and flames have damaged exterior of this place. here is video that we receive from 1:15 a.m.. this is when they realize the there were 60 pot plants inside. there were in five different rooms. this stretches all away to the back in the fire department had to fight the flames from below. this is how big this fire was. it was much harder the what they expected. i had a chest

the last time that this saw them. >> watching what is now tropical depression "flossie" off the coast of hawaii. the storm had been categorized as a tropical storm as it headed for hawaii's big island and maui. the storm is not only affecting residents in hawaii, but also travelers around they bay area. there were several cancellations yesterday, and more are expected today. kron 4's solo reporter jackie sissel is live at san francisco international airport with an update. things are looking better today than they did yesterday. if you are trying to go to the island i cannot tell you that that would be good news. many flights were canceled about a half-dozen or more. in fact, a united cancelled all their flights going into hawaii. it is a

different story this morning and the good news is that according to the board, all the flights leaving our own time. you can see that these are the arriving flights that are coming in from there and three of those have been cancelled. if you have someone who is coming home from you need to call the carrier just to make sure. yesterday, more than half a dozen flights were canceled and i had a chance to talk to one frustrated travelers. >> i had stood in three different lines. they told me they had a reservation and then i had to move to another line. i was in the third line and they told me i was on standby. it looks like as soon as i try to a get out of here-s >> the tropical depression is going to the island or

>> welcome back. san diego's county clerk is in hot water this morning for allegedly trying to prevent same sex couples from getting married. in court papers, state attorney general kamala harris says that county clerk ernest d ronenburg jr. ax to the california supreme court to declare same-sex marriages to remain a legal in all but two of the state's 58 counties. harris says of the state court does not have that power. last month, the u.s. supreme court ruled the state's ban on same-sex marriages unconstitutional, clearing the way for a gay marriage to resume in california. the county clerk's lawyers have until august 9th to respond.
