san printers got at 56 degrees, 58 out the door in oakland. satellite and radar shore where we are dealing with cloud cover and it's a little bit more patchy and not well organized. into the afternoon, i want to talk temperatures. futurecast 4 shows by 12:00, 64 are bayshore. it is going to be a little bit warmer at livermore, concord and for those of you and fairfield. as you put the clock into motion we will continue to gain a few degrees in fact, temperatures predominantly in the '80s are for your highs for the delta and portions of the north bay street it will cool again by 8:00 p.m. tonight. we will see an increasing cloud cover with temperatures back in the '60s and holding onto a few low 70's. if i do want to break down afternoon highs expected for you today. let's start with a look at the east bay shoreline. well eighties for concord and antioch. in

insan francisco's refuse collection and disposal rate anpercent rate increase for and trash collection. this rate hike will go into willthe board finalized the approval of a monthly increase of 6-dollars and 17 cents. that's up from the current rate of 27-dollars and 91- cents for households with three 32-gallon bins. however, if a household switches to a smaller 20- gallon bin their rate would decrease to 24-dollars and 68-cents. the decrease is in an effort to get more people to recycle and compost. a man is under arrest after a vicious attack on a woman in san francisco's castro district. police say christopher porter baily of oakland was arrested and accused of robbing a female suspect and then kicking her in the head. he pleaded not guilty. this attack happened last month during gay pride weekend - early in the morning near market and dolores streets.

welcome back. the time now is 410. new flight restrictions at s-f-o are now in place. they come after the crash of asiana flight 2-14. and they only involve international flights landing at the airport. kron 4's scott rates shows us how those new restrictions work and what passengers are saying about them. >>scott: the faa telling me that they took these actions after noticing an increase in the amount of go around out here on these two runways. these new regulations have been going on for about a week here at sfo. let me show you what i am talking about. here is one way to eight left and on the other side is runway to eight right. they run parallel to each other. you concede to aircraft and this guy coming in for a landing. normally these two aircraft could actually land side by side but under new regulations they have to be staggered. you can see what aircraft

welcome back. local officials across northern california are growing more frustrated with illegal marijuana grows. they've asked the state for help in protecting streams and rivers from harmful sediment and chemicals used in the illegal grows, which are often carved out of hillsides by bulldozers. they had hoped to charge growers under federal and state clean water regulations with tougher penalties than the infractions local officials could impose. but so far, the state agency in charge of protecting the region's water says it is too dangerous. dozens of gay couples are

during the demonstrations. the council will have to vote on the measure again in september before it can become law. it has now been three weeks since 21- month-old daphne webb was reported missing. police say she was taken from her father's car outside a supermarket in east oakland. dozens of friends, family and supporters gathered for a vigil in daphne's honor wednesday night. they prayed for the toddler's safe return. daphne's mother was understandably distraught. loved ones reminisced about the happy baby they know and love. daphne's father -- anthony webb was originally arrested for child endangerment but released. he has been working with police.

the san francisco warehouse is being taken to a landfill. the man who kidnapped and raped three women in cleveland over a decade in his house is heading back to court today. 53-year-old ariel castro will face a sentence up to life in prison plus one- thousand years. castro's sentence was part of a plea deal that spared him a possible death sentence for a forced miscarriage suffered by one victim. prosecutors say the women kept diaries documenting the psychological and sexual abuse they suffered daily for a decade. the case broke may 6 when one victim kicked out part of a door at castro's house and called to neighbors for help.
