alert has been issued for a pair of siblings who police believe were kidnapped by a their mother and burned down his home. it happened in san diego county. in the community of boulevard. 44-year-old christina anderson was found dead inside the burning home of a 40-year-old man. officers also discovered the remains of a child. these are pictures of the children missing this morning. hannah anderson is 16- years old, standing 5- feet 7- inches tall. she has a belly button ring, nose stud and pierced ears. ethan anderson is 8-years old. standing 4 feet 11- inches tall. police say, they may have been kidnapped by this man. 40-year-old james dimaggio. the suspect was last seen driving a blue nissan versa 4-door, with a california license plate. 6 -w- c- u- 9- 8- 6. police believe he is headed

every day, as always, there's a lot to love for a little on mcdonald's dollar menu. ♪ court to call a 60-day "cooling off" period. a man is dead after being killed in a solo car crash night. the crash happened around 10-45 on the north bascom avenue on northbound 880. a car heading onto the on ramp overturned and witnesses say they saw a man partially ejected out of the car. that man was pronounced dead at the scene. no other injuries were reported. san jose police have identified a woman who was shot and killed early saturday morning as 19- year-old kimberly joyce chico. the shooting happened early saturday morning. on south second and east san salvador streets. this is video from the scene. police -- have not confirm whether the shooting is

chevron to be put on a two -year probation. pay nearly two - million dollars in fines. and pay more then 720- thousand dollars in restitution. to different agencies. who half ofadante pointer is an attorney with the law offices of john burris. that firm is representing more 13-thousand people who say, they suffered serious illness after the chevron fire. kron 4's scott rates talked with pointer, and gets his reaction to the settlement. that nothing to people who were affected out in the community. >>: this was a criminal negligence type of situation where chevron knew that they were operating a plant that had a long standing track record of running the boat without loss and the essentially ignored their responsibility to conduct their business in a lawful

manner it is their responsibility to not a danger residents who live around this very toxic plants. >>: what are some of the illnesses out there in the community are suffering as a result of this fire. >>: lots of people come to our door every day that have coughing fits. a period of time where it was hard for them to sleep some people passed away because they were already in a very it medically compromised in state and this fire pushed them over the edge. we are dealing with people who've had a range of issues. the criminal case just proves the point that if chevron had been engaged in reckless conduct that was criminally negligent in terms of what they were doing bridge now from ysabel perspective we are here to show that what they're doing was punitively irresponsible.

witnesses say, the suspect fired randomly until he was taken down by authorities. at least two other people were hurt. have been hurt if others did not try to intervene. police say the gunman has been captured and is in custody. the trial of the man who carried out the fort hood shooting will start today. maj. nidal malik hasan will represent himself at a court-martial charging him with murder and attempted murder for the 2009 attack that left 13 people dead. over the next several weeks, he is expected to deliver an opening statement,question witnesses and possibly present his own evidence.

the main issue is trying to put out the fire completely. one of the things that they have to deal with it is a water supply there are hydrants all over the cemetery in but not directly where the fire is at. so you see a lot of trucks going in and out and around the cemetery in order to fuel up their trucks to get back out there to try to put out the fire completely. this call came in at about 230 this morning and again as i mentioned, the concern was that the homes here. that does not seem to be under threat. they do not know exactly what started this fire. >>anny: the we know how close the fire is to the cemetery? >>: it's a 2 a. area of fire. you can see the cemetery so it is with in the cemetery walls but it is

bus and to bring thousands of people to and from the east bay. starting tomorrow morning, 81201. they may have to find an alternative. that's because about 1600 transit union workers or 80 workers have given ac transit's board of directors notice that they will walk off the job if they can't come to a contract agreement on a daily basis a.c. transit carries about 180,000 passengers. mostly in the east bay. so you can imagine the impact that it would have. obviously the bart strike affected about 400,000 people so it's about half but still a large amount of people that would be impacted by desperate that all comes down to salary and benefits as it always does in these cases. we had a chance to talk to some writers yesterday about a potential strike affecting ac transit for it >>: i heard a bus drivers talking and try to do things are right and they
