fatal party bus accident on interstate 280 near porto valley has been arrested. 43 year-old jason quinonez faces three charges of felony d.u.i., hit-and-run and manslaughter. according to the chp quinonez fled the scene but was found nearby. he suffered minor injuries. the party bus went down an embankment on sunday night south of alpine road killing the only passenger. investigators are still trying to contact the owner of the bus for questioning. >>james: new this morning. union workers for the city of hayward are walking off the job today as they begin a three day strike. as each i used hayward chapter represents more than 356-- city workers, from library and assistance to the water sanitation workers, road

crews, administrative staff and others. their contract expired in april with union members authorized a strike in june. both sides have been locked in contentious negotiations. the union claims the city of hayward is refusing to engage a row while the city claims theinhe late tactics, intimidation and other benefit practices. the city declared a bargaining impasse and july, and the two sides have not negotiated cents. >>anny: broken bolt on the bay bridge have forced agencies overseen the bridge construction to cancel the labor day opening. but the chp is still planning ahead just in case the bridge is open that we can. last week the chp began signing up personnel to staff the extra

brian todd has more. he was said to have been infatuated with 16-year old kidnap victim hannah anderson. now, chilling new detail on what could have been a disturbing influence on that behavior by james dimaggio: his own father. cnn affiliate k-f-m-b in san diego interviewed a woman who says dimaggio's father, james everett dimaggio, pursued her when she was a teenager. the woman, who didn't want to be identified, said this happened in the late-1980's. the senior dimaggio, she says, had dated her mother-- but broke up with the mother and told the then-teenager, he loved her.
