>> new this morning. one man is injured after they were shot at a vietnamese restaurant. kron four's will tran is live from the restaurant in san jose, will? >> eight hours after the shooting the investigators are still here. you can see that there is a lot out here. three men that were shot, they do not know if they were the intended target or is it was the actual cholesterol. you concede markers on the ground. the investigators told me that the shooter is for so sophisticated that they have not been able to recover any casings. i wanted to know how that was possible? he stated that

they may have read their guns that they used that cut across the casings. so far they have not been able to recover any of those. the men were sitting near the window when the shots were fired. they do not know what this point because they have no casings. they have no mode of. the men were in their 30's and 40's. there were still able to talk to investigators but not give them enough information. the man who died, he had a fighting chance. he was rushed to the hospital but he died at the hospital. at this point, they're still here. >> two people are in the hospital this morning following a shooting in san

francisco's visitacion valley. it happened around 5:00 yesterday evening at the corner of sunnydale avenue and bayshore boulevard. a man and a woman were shot -- both were taken to san francisco general hospital. police say the man's injuries are considered life-threatening. as for a suspect. police don't have much to go on. witnesses saw a man in his early 20s driving away in a burgundy sedan. >> investigators confirm the cause of the deadly limousine fire that killed five women on the san mateo bridge last may was *accidental. c-h-p and fire department officials say the limo's rear suspension failed. which allowed the drive shaft under the car to come into contact with the floor panel. that caused the carpet to catch fire. which ultimately killed 5 women inside. the district attorney says surveillance video taken the day of the accident shows the limo appeared to be in good condition before the accident.

authorities announced that the cause of the deadly limousine fire on the san mateo bridge back in may, was accidental. at a press conference yesterday c-h-p and the fire department officials said there was a failure in the rear suspension system which enabled the drive shaft pipe under the car to come into contact with the floor panel. >> i am still grieving about this as well as the other families. it has just been a terrible situation. >> he went on to say that he felt sad because he was not able to save more lives. coming up will have more reports from the 911 calls. >>

people trying to get in are being told to use state route 140 and state route 41. the forest service says some camps in the area are being evacuated and some structures have been lost. the blaze has burned some 800 acres since it broke out on saturday. most evacuations have been canceled in butte county as firefighters gain the upper hand on the swedes fire. the wildfire is still threatening about 400 structures and worries about winds and dry lightning remain, but most residents who had to evacuate saturday have been they can return. about 900 firefighters have the 3-square-mile blaze at least 64 percent surrounded, with full containment expected by thursday. the fire has burned one residence, a garage and three outbuildings since it broke out on friday outside bangor. it's one of 10 significant wildfires burning around the state after tens of thousands of recent lightning strikes.
