mandatory. fire officials say the blaze, which started saturday, is only 1 percent contained. heavy smoke from the fire has triggered an air quality alert in reno and surrounding areas more than 150 miles away. yosemite remains open. continuing our team coverage. san francisco officials have also issued an emergency declaration. critical water and power

systems for the city are being threatened by the fire. kron4's charles clifford explains how the blaze could affect the city's water supply. some lane closures on the bay bridge this weekend for a toll system upgrade. three lanes on the right side of the bay bridge toll plaza will be closed to add a new fastrak only lane. this starts at 9 p-m tonight and is scheduled to re-open at 5 a-m on monday. the closure means fastrak drivers who are coming from i-880 or west grand avenue will be allowed to use two bus-only lanes at the far right of the toll plaza. this is all happening ahead of the five day closure set for next week. as the bridge construction continues, temporary structures are being prepped on the bike and pedestrian path.

>> welcome back. we are watching wall street this morning. investors are hoping that the stock market will continue upward trend today after several days of losses. although future trading show stocks are headed for a a lower opening today. good economic news from asia and europe that drove the market higher yesterday. here's a look at the closing numbers. the dow climbed 66 points. the nasdaq up 38 points. s&p 500 rose 14 points. h.p.

dropping 12% yesterday after meg whitman indicated a slowdown in revenue for the company. h-p had been the biggest and out and earn this year. abercrombie and fish dropped 17% yesterday, on wheat sales. >> there was a glitch yesterday at nasdaq. it halted trading for about three hours. trading started just after noon because of the data feed problems. trading resumed about 3:30 p.m.. the nasdaq is home to more mid-20s 700 stocks, including apple, google, and microsoft. a spokesman for the securities and exchange commission said that agency is monitoring the situation

the bay area your extended forecasts shows quiet weather. the temperatures will be cooler than where they should be. >> and there is a motorcycle accident in the macarthur mayes on westbound on 580 just past the 24 interchange. it is right in the heart of the macarthur thise cross traffic merges. in the midst of all of this the two right lanes are blocked. a motorcycle and a pickup truck was involved. this may be there for a while. it is still early that the backup is only a minor or moderate. at this stage, it may be a big snag for highway 24 and interstate 580.
