mandatory. fire officials say the blaze, which started saturday, is only 1 percent contained. heavy smoke from the fire has triggered an air quality alert in reno and surrounding areas more than 150 miles away. yosemite remains open. continuing our team coverage. san francisco officials have also issued an emergency declaration. critical water and power

systems for the city are being threatened by the fire. kron4's charles clifford explains how the blaze could affect the city's water supply. some lane closures on the bay bridge this weekend for a toll system upgrade. three lanes on the right side of the bay bridge toll plaza will be closed to add a new fastrak only lane. this starts at 9 p-m tonight and is scheduled to re-open at 5 a-m on monday. the closure means fastrak drivers who are coming from i-880 or west grand avenue will be allowed to use two bus-only lanes at the far right of the toll plaza. this is all happening ahead of the five day closure set for next week. as the bridge construction continues, temporary structures are being prepped on the bike and pedestrian path.
