away, covered by a blue tarp is a compact toyota yaris. both passengers died. the driver of the toyota is >> one of the victims was pronounced deceased at the scene and the other was pronounced dead at the hospital. >> reporter: identified as 62-year-old carmen zavala of san jose. she and her passenger were on their way to work at the nearby airport. police believe the toyota was making a left hand turn from northbound first street onto westbound skyport toward the airport when they were hit head on by the mercedes, whose driver appears to have run a red light and may have been speeding. because it was such a big impact. that there were not yielding to traffic. >> it's not clear if the driver of the mercedes was hurt or whether the driver is the registered owner but whomever was behind the wheel, say police, is facing felony hit and
