>> pam: we continue with our top story -- the fire on mount diablo. in walnut creek, horses evacuated from the fire zone are resting safely. those running the center, are expecting more horses, especially if the fire gets worse. kron-4s terisa estacio went to the equestrian center to see how the animals are doing. >> reporter:sadly, mount diablo is no stranger to fire. this was the scene in 1977.when more than six- thousand acres burned. this fire followed two years of dry weather - similar to the situation in which we now find ourselves. the fire charred the north side of

>> pam: firefighters found the front door secured by a security grille and a double deadbolt. so police pulled a patrol car up to the burning building. fiefighters then used the hood to enter the house they found two more people unconscious and pulled them to safety, seven people were injured , including two police officers and two firefighters >> pam: a man found with head injuries in union square saturday morning has been identified. a relative stopped by san francisco general hospital and made a positive identification. he had no wallet or i-d when he was found. police have not released his name yet to the public. he is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old. around 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. he has brown hair and brown eyes. >> pam: he was wearing levis jeans, black leather shoes,

and no shirt when he arrived at the trauma center. >> pam: the man who fell to his death yesterday attending the 498ers home openert candelstick park has been idenitified. >> pam: he is 32-year-old kevin hayes from hayward. he was walking with his brother on the jamestown pedestrian walkway just before 1-30 in the afternoon, when he fell about 20 feet onto the sidewalk below. >> pam: multiple witnesses say he appeared to be intoxicated prior to his fall. >> pam: still to come. >> pam: himself back in handcuffs this morning. the shocking details of why he was arrested. and we'll take you back out to mount diablo, where a fire has burned over 37 hundred acres. that's next.
