trucks are arrived and they are ready for a shift change. they have 700 firefighters that are battling this. they may get an additional 200. w relieve the workers who were there overnight. here is video of the fire and i can tell you that it is 20 percent contained. no homes are pregnant this time. they have been a good job to make sure these areas are safthreatey have done a good job to keep this from happening. the evaluation number at 100 has not changed. we had a chance to talk to the fire captain and this is what we have to say. >> i am optimistic that the

containment numbers will go up. the fire is contained in areas that do not have canyons. i do know and no which areas have 20% contained a but i do know that there were working overnight to make sure that they can get this done. >> what is your plan to get this for? >> we will try to get more containment and we will also mount up operationstart mop up >> this will give us more space between the area that has burned in the area that has burned. >> you concede that the fire fighters are getting their breakfast and briefing. you just heard that he expects members of containment to go up. we will try to get to the new numbers coming up

activity atop mount diablo. on the left is a time lapse of the billowing smoke as crews battled the flames yesterday. and on the right is video from our partnership with abc 7 news. the blaze in mount diablo state park has spread to nearly six square miles. calfire says it is 20- percent contained this morning as hot temperatures and wind gusts fueled the fire's spread. flames are threatening 100 homes. the fire was also threatening electrical transmission lines, communications infrastructure, and a historic lookout and visitor center at the top of mount >> a new wildfire is burning near homes outside of redding. the clover fire has charred more than 67-hundred acres. evacuations are underway. the fire has damaged or destroyed some 20 structures. one woman says she pulled up to her son's home. only to >> we do have a fog bank
