kron-4's catherine heenan is live in the studio with catherine? a sheriff in boulder county - the hardest hit area - is calling this a disaster. he says all the preparation in the world couldn't have protected against the huge walls of water that have been crashing down. the flash flooding began tuesday night. with devastating results. just one of the many rescue stories. a crew thought they'd better take a second look at this partially submerged car in boulder county. and were astonished to hear someone inside banging. at one point.rescue workers accidentally flipped the car over while trying to reach the man inside. they got him out.saying a

few more minutes.and it would have been too late. wednesday night.a young mother and her little girl were rescued by a passing driver in a large truck.in a storm that included hail. you're seeing citizens and rescue workers helping each other. but the big concern - the people living in remote canyons and mountain areas that no one has been able to reach. at least three people have been killed.but that death toll could go up. at the university of colorado in boulder.buildings have been damaged and hundreds of grad students had to be moved to higher ground. flooding is reported from fort collins. in boulder and larimer counties.authorities had to plead with people at first to stay inside or evactuate.some thought it was a fun time to 'play'. . now they say.people have been frightened into realizing just how serious this is.

jose. but as kron four's rob fladeboe reports now, four other suspects are in custody. this was the scene late thursday afternoon as dozens of sheriff's deputies and san jose police officers swarmed into an eastside neighborhood after a resident of chrisland a home invasion robbery. clara co sheriff's dept. several blocks were then sealed off. residents notified via reverse 9-1-1 to shelter in place. nearby joseph george school was locked down as deputies searched vehicles leaving the area. three more suspects were caught, one of them in george torres' front yard. sot george torres/resident a police helicopter circled over head as search teams
