with upper 50s for the coast. and mid-60s we will take a look at the afternoon highs, neighborhood by neighborhood, coming up. >> a 2-alarm overnight fire in pittsburg has left three people dead. it broke out around 12:30 this morning at a home in the 200 block of dimaggio avenue. firefighters were able to put out the fire in less than a half hour. all three people died at the home. a second home may have also been damaged from the fire. >> the firefighters mainly were able to do a fire attack and a search for potential victims. there were three individuals found inside the home. all deceased. there were brought out by the firefighters but they all perished in the fire. >> they were able to put out the blaze and less than 30 minutes. they were all women. there were also all

related. still no word on what caused the blaze but there were no fire warnings inside a house. >> today marks the first home game of the season for the raiders and fans are already out there getting ready for the game. joining us live now from the colisseium is kron 4's mike pelton. good morning mike. mike, raiders fans are going to face some big changes as they enter the coliseum. >> reporter: yes, there is a bag change, you have to have a clear, plastic bag as opposed to be able to the games. there is music playing behind me and i have already heard some super bowl predictions. they have been out here for many years. this was the scene with dozens and dozens of oakland raiders fans. they are getting ready right outside of 66th avenue they were here after 6:00 a.m.

>> demonstrators took to the new western bay bridge span to protest the u-s and russia agreement over syria. it was the first protest on the bridge. protestors with signs walked along the pedestrian path.speaking out against military action in syria. the u-s and russia agreement.requires syria to declare its chemical weapons. one protestor talks about the experience of walking on the bridge for the first time. >> personally i think that is beautiful and many people want to see the new bridge and the walkway. there are so many people wanted to bring our message to thousands and thousands of people and join us. cautiously hopeful about the u-s and russia plan. prime minister benjamin netanyahu says israel hopes the plan will lead to "complete destruction" of syria's chemical weapons.as

well as a push to stop iran's nuclear weapons armament. >> the husband of christine svan-em-eyer says he's grateful for the support he's received from family and friends since his wife was killed last week. christine svan-em-eyer was run over by a service truck in a san francisco park. she was sun bathing in a bernal heights park with her 11 month daughter. the suspect accused of the hit and run, thomas burnoski, broke his silence yesterday releasing this statement. it said in part, "my family and i wish to express our profound sorrow to the family of christine svanemyr. i am absolutely devastated by this tragic accident." >> and visitors of holly park are thinking twice about their safety following the deadly accident. one woman says she still walks her dog at the park everyday and will continue to do so. the growing memorial is a somber reminder for city workers to be careful in the area. >> there are no, these are walkways. there is a better way than coming in where

well as other political headlines, is our political analyst michael yaki. >> good morning. >> a lot of people are mystified. it seems that it is official, so quickly. >> naming is a routine effort in any legislative body. unless of course it comes to the former mayor, willie brown. this was a proposal. and then people kind of started bending their roles in just a couple of days. >> i've never seen the legislation works so fast! [laughter] >> and it is usually working something but this however, was people are thinking about sueing.. this was more about

>> why is this... and issue right now? >> i do not think that people can dispute the fact that former mayor, willie brown deserves some recognition. aside from the fact of what he may have died in san francisco let us look at he was born and raised from the south and the was a shoe shiner to be his first job. how ever, he became one of the most powerful black politician in the country right behind president barack obama. there's a lot of accomplishment regardless of what he has it dawnedof what he has -- done. and the bay bridge naming that is a bit debatable but i do not see a problem in it. there are a

lot of bridges that nobody ever notices. and however this is an honor. and in terms of the overall impact to the bay area is a flurry. in the end, it is always going to be called the bay bridge. >> this is more symbolic? >> this is definitely symbolic. and each one half is named after a george mill of a cartoonist bridge is named after an engineer. and of course, the cortines--- carquinez bridge however, is named after an engineer but it is not really called that. people still want to appreciate the names of living members of congress, after post offices, federal buildings. >> the cost to this tax

nowhere, came and started beating her uppunching her in the head and the face. then, that attacker grbed the woman and started dragging her into the bushes. you can see on your screen, a police composite sketch of the suspect. police say the suspect is a hispanic man in his 20's, roughly five feet, five inches tall with a medium complexion and stubby facial hair. police say the victim was screaming and a nearby resident heard the screams through the window. she went to check out the situation. that scared off the attacker who ran away in the opposite direction. police say this is a perfect example of one reason why you should not walk and text. the woman is ok. i'm jeff bush at the el cerrito bart station, kron four news. >> drivers in walnut creek could be in store for a dollar increase at parking meters. the proposal by the city's transportation commission will potentially double meter rates. when parking is in high demand -- rates could go from the current price of one -dollar an hour -- to two- dollars an hour. when parking is in low demand -- rates could go from the current 50-cents an

hour. to one-dollar an hour. the transportation commission says, this is all part of a plan to drive people into using the city's often under- used parking garages. city staff also recommends changing the meter enforcement hours. they are currently enforced from nine- in the morning until six -at night. the proposed change is ten- in the morning, until eight -at night. kron four's philippe djegal spoke with drivers in walnut creek, who are not pleased with the proposal. >> reporter: it took me a little more than a half hour to find this parking spot at the intersection of locust and bonanza in downtown walnut creek. that was pretty much the same story for everyone i spoke with. they say raising the price at meters may free up some spots. but no one's trilled about paying more. >> that is outrageous! >> honestly i did not think that it is okay. >> >> reporter: how much more of the burden? >> more than it is already is. it is not good for the
