the temperatures are really not too bad. we have plenty of 60's and to go or around. in fact, it is plenty of clouds to go wrong. if we are working to low clouds. here is a closer look at the temperatures. daly city right now is sitting at 57 degrees. we still have all of this cloud cover that is pushing through. we will be having a great start for the morning. as we head into the afternoon you can expect mostly cloudy skies. sunnyvale will be talking of the pet 79 degrees. >> your extended forecast highlights major changes.

next two days will be very sundasunny and mild. by wednesdy and thursday we will start to warm things up. we may see '90s for some of the endless pause. we will wait the basically to fog three mornings. we will pick up a 20% chance of showers. most of those showers will be north of the golden gate bridge. >> the traffic around the bay area has no hot spots. here is a live look at the approach to the bay bridge toll plaza. there are no problems getting to the bridge. the metering lights are not alone. the san mateo bridge is very light in portions of highway 92. the golden gate bridge, southbound 11 is problem free. >> on to our top story this morning. northern colorado residents are keeping a high

on the sky. more rain was the forecast for sunday, and officials said that the weather hindered rescue operations. the flooding has left several people dead and hundreds are still unaccounted for. katie mur ray has the latest. >> the relentless rain prevented them from using their helicopters to search for those that were missing. the helicopters are grounded and as soon as the conditions change that will be fine. >> authorities wanted additional rent or caused more flooding and debris. bridges have some merge and the only way to get to some people is by air. one man was trapped in his home and watched in horror when a car was stuck with four kids inside. >> it had increased to the

and they're still very far apart on an agreement. at the upcoming negotiations, bart is looking for a response to the proposal put on the table just before the cooling off period. union leaders are looking for answers to questions that are looming. tract. >> we have a lot of questions. the last time we were given a proposal by management the left and they never came back. it has been over 30 days since we have discussed any of our generals or economics. we are not looking for another strike, but at the end of the date the only folks that can stop a strike are the board of directors. >> everyone should know that the directors and the district are committed to coming to an agreement. is is going to be one that is not only fair to our workers, but one that is substantial for the system

for writers and their workers. we have to make an investment in the future of this system and it starts with a responsible contract. >> the bart spokesperson tells us they've come up with a 10-percent increase over 4 years. but union leadership is still requesting over 20- contract. the negotiations are scheduled to continue at nine a-m this morning. >> happening right now, fire crews are on the scene of but one alarm house fire in pacifica. the fire broke out around 2:40 a.m. this morning. this is at 61 is the way drive. investigators said that the fire started on that exterior of the home and then spread inside. we have a crew on the scene, and will bring you updates as they become available. >> the mount diablo fire is one-hundred percent contained and nature-lovers are already hoping to get back on the trails.

the fire burned nearly 5 square miles in and around the state park. officials say mount diablo state park is on track to partially reopen on monday. crews are working to fix park trails and structures damaged in the blaze and park attendees say they are happy for a quick turn around. >> people come from all over just to ride this mountain. >> >> kron 4's philippe djegal tells us when the gates will re-open today. allow to go. >> park lenders that the today's will reopen at 8:00 a.m. this morning. they hope that it will return to their normal business hours. since the fire started only the parts of it were able to get people to pasture. this

security council weeks after the apparent chemical weapons attacks in syria. andrew spencer reports the international community is hoping to bring together a plan that will take chemical weapons out of the hands of the syrian regime. >> we have an agreement that is a good one. this is the first-ever. we must be sure that syria will comply. >> they lay out a series of steps that should take to eliminate a stockpile of weapons. the international community still needs to decide on what to do. >> we will go to the united nations with the resolution. this will affect call on the united nations to put pressure and on syria. >> this may include the possibility of sanctions or strikes. secretary general bond says that he wants to see an end to this. the united nations has failed to

is heading for a monday landfall on the country's opposite coast. mexican officials say the unusual double onslaught has caused at least 21 deaths. the heaviest blow sunday fell on the southern coastal state of guerrero, where mexico's government reports 14 confirmed deaths. state officials say people have been killed in landslides, by drownings in a swollen river and a truck crash on a rain-slickened mountain highway. the u.s. national hurricane center says ingrid could reach the mainland by monday morning, most likely along the lightly populated coast north of the port of tampico. mexico's national weather service says getting hit by a tropical storm and a hurricane at the same time "is completely atypical." >> we are following the numbers into the afternoon. it will be 60's along the coast and seven days inside the bay. as to put the clock and the motion you will notice by the afternoon, 3:00 p.m. was see the '80s develop for the delta and the south bay. low to mid '80s for the warm spot in the temperatures will be seasonal. clouds will return

since a molasses spill invaded honolulu harbor in hawaii. and while conditions are somewhat improving -- crews are still working to find out what exactly caused the spill -- and what can be done to prevent it from happening again. ben gutierrez has more. >> reporters were taking on a tour including the source of the league. mass and safety of as a stated that the leak was not noticed until monday pan and divers were sent to inspect. they wanted to find the source. >> the divers' started here and they swim to the riser. they don't every rise along the pier and a video that we received every rise of the vuitton, which try to figure out what was born on. >> it was not until tuesday that they found where it had went through a corroded valve and then cause a leak.

skagit in washington has reopened. crews worked all weekend to get the bridge opened by yesterday. to complete the new section, workers had to remove a 500 on temporary section and replace it with a prominent span. the bridge collapsed to four months ago after being hit by an oversize truck. the calls for the repairs were eight and half million dollars. >> new york city police shot two bystanders while pursuing a suspect near times square over the weekend and it was all caught on a cell phone camera. police fired three shots at the man who was said to be acting erratically. the bullets missed him. but hit two women. one of the women was grazed by a bullet -- the other was shot in the knee. the suspect appears to surrender but then gets back up. police say it looked like the man *wanted to be struck by traffic. but then, they say, he pretended to point a weapon at officers.

the man then flees in the confusion. where you see here that dozens of police chase after him. an officer eventually tasered the suspect, who was unarmed. that man has been identified as 35-year-old glenn broadnax he's facing several charges, including resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. the women are both expected to be okay. >> civil rights advocates gathered in alabama to mark the 50th anniversary of a tragic event in american history. on september 15, 1963, four girls were killed when a bomb planted by the ku-klux- klan exploded at the 16th street baptist church in birmingham, alabama. rallying point for the civil rights movement. in birmingham youth empowerment events and concerts were held throughout the weekend. a commemoration ceremony was also held yesterday afternoon. >> a big name in politics has taken his name off of the list to be the next leader of the federal reserve. larry summers spoke with president obama who accepted his decision.

ended and you can see that it slammed into the side of the store as well as at an intersection light pole. it started about 11:00 p.m. last night it was in san leandro just a few miles away. the police are not saying why they started this pursuit of this is video that we received. they chased him for a few miles and then he lost control of the car. that person was taken away and said the hospital with minor injuries. after he slammed into the this car, he took out his light pole and ended up. the store. i had a chance to speak to the police and this is what they had to say. >> the car took off at a high rate of speed and when
